Is your home phone number outside ? Does it imply outside use ? No.
I think you could use it in a screened patio but that could be iffy. And I don't think you'll be tenting in your front yard to use the internet. đ
Personally I would have just spent that $35 monthly fee at my local Starbucks or Tim Hortons instead, using their free internet. Unless I could just open a window and use it near that window, though it is starting to get cold here in Ottawa.
Thanks for the heads-up.
Netzero is mainly for commuters or people who are constantly on the go with their laptops. Instead of using starbucks or mcdonalds wifi, or if you're staying in a hotel, you would use netzero instead of using their ISP.
Tony, just ask that they remove the 'Net' from the products name
Excellent suggestion – thanks.
Then I should have been told that when I ordered the service. I asked if it would work in my home and was told yes.
If you have wired internet on your desktop & simply wanted to use internet on your laptop at home, what you needed was a wireless router. This takes your internet connection and broadcasts it wirelessly in and near your house; you set up a network name & password and others near you would be unable to use your internet unless you gave them the password. Unless your laptop >7 years old, most already have a wifi antenna built-in and you could sign in to your network w/password to use wi-fi on it.
Thank you for your excellent suggestion.
its made for internet service on the go!
netzero has always been a rip off
thanks great video
Watching this on my netzero hotspot right now, 10 mbs. I can't complain
I have had this service too and it works great if you are young and mobile and need to connect on the go and that is out side in the corner or subway or on your way to the office or on your way to your car i can even use this on the public bus while its moving and need a connection. For old people that just sit home its no good.
"stand on the sidewalk with my laptop" lmaooo
"Stand out on the street for internet service. "Some old people are just plain dumb.
The charges are Not fraudulent.! You made the charges on your credit card. "Buyer beware"!
if it works on the subway, shouldnt it work in a house?
now how would you say to the credit card company the charged were fraud? when they look into the charge and see that the item was charged in your name and shipped to your address, they will not refund your money because its not fraud because everything was done by you. Think man, your old and wise use your brain, gosh i though old people were support to be smart. Â Â
Great Video. oh yea let stand outside & oh wait is that thunderstorms no Biggie my computer can get wet is fine. LMAOÂ
I bought the same device it works inside and can take it outside no problem. My only comment is we buy it from a US company but must communicate with the sales people and tech. support in Philippine and that is hard to do. Not only that why do we have to send our job to other country when our people need the job here.
I had a hard time to understand them and told many lies in between. I am going to send it back and get what I can get from them.
first your using a  stick for a lap top  you should have gotten  the upgrade, would have worked better, it would not work inside because of the interferance, and they had no idea  when you call and order it, next time do research thats why i got the upgradeÂ
You should have called the FCC.
