The IPCC report, released every six years, incorporates the key findings from thousands of articles published in scientific journals, concluding with at least 95 percent certainty that human activities have caused most of Earth’s temperature rise since 1950, and will continue to do so in the future. “Drought is the number one threat we face from climate change because it affects the two things we need to live: food and water,” says Jeff Masters, director of meteorology at the Weather Underground. We also speak to Greenpeace International Executive Director Kumi Naidoo.

First of all, there has been warming over the past 15 years, just not as much as initially anticipated. These days though there are studies that show that it's due to a cyclical event involving the ocean, similar to El Nino and La Nina but spanning a decade or two.
Your statement that we should do nothing and just adapt is simply so disconnected from reality that it can't be taken seriously.

Considering that climategate wasn't what the media and people like Rush and Alex Jones claimed it was I don't think it wise to keep citing it. Those hacked emails didn't say what was claimed, not when you actually look at the whole emails and understand a bit of scientific jargon.

The warming is not 100% statistically significant considering the margin of error.
The point that you seem to be missing is that natural variation completely overwhelms the GH effect. Sure, it's going to get warmer if you add CO2, I'm not going to deny that. The problem is that the warming is not as pronounced as models said it would be.
We can debate of inaction, but no the cost of action. The cost of action. The bills before congress have exceeded 600 billion dollars.
You speak of the costs of action yet ignore the consequences of inaction. Global warming affects the climate, it influences hurricanes in a way that the weaker ones won't form as easily because of but there will be more of the bigger ones and they'll be stronger.
I pointed out why the warming of air and land temperatures aren't isn't as strong as previously anticipated in my previous post.
Even The Daily Telegraph is now taking climate change seriously. As New South Wales battles 90 major bush fires – in October for fuck's sake! – they have belatedly recognized that the IPCC is not bullshitting us.

The science that relates what? It was a video about against Monsanto and GMO (was it supposed to be, did I miss something or was that a mistake? If it was intentional could you explain please?). I don't think much of Monsanto, it has far too big a share of the market as it is. But it was a bit depressing to see all those people making claims like gmo kills people etc when to the best of my knowledge those claims aren't based on very much more than hearsay and poorly made and discredited studies.
Also, the links I provided deal with climategate emails, if you have any specific ones that you'd like to bring up then do so, the ones I've seen so far don't point to this huge conspiracy and fraud that some "sceptics" like to claim. When media and critics have to resort to taking quotes out of context and claiming that certain quotes are talking about things they actually aren't it's safe to suspect that there's something wrong with the conspiracy claims.

Could you kindly cite a few more studies that you think are evidence for some gmo product possing a danger? I'm aware of a few, none of them valid due to poor methodology etc that have lead to inaccurate and misleading results.

It would be helpful if you point to some emails, the ones I know of don't actually state anything like what some people like to claim. Am I to assume that you think that global warming is now being called climate change for some conspiritorial purpose, that there has been some suspect change in therms? It would also be great if you took the time to address some of my other posts below, no rush, just a reminder.

Maybe just maybe, the IPCC is a tiny bit more qualified than judomagyr? Saying that the IPCC claims that individual heatwaves and individual floods "are caused" by climate change is NOT what the IPCC has EVER said. For this is just weather at one point in time. Weather over long periods of time is climate. It's long term climate…weather at individual points…that the IPCC describes.

What about the chemtrails causing 30% global dimming? This governmental concerted effort is affecting plant growth and is what should be stopped right away. The berries on a tree outside my window are brown, only one or two have turned red.
People are not causing any damage to the climate. CO2 is an essential part of the earth atmosphere. It is already at 0.04% and green houses are buying machine to make CO2 without it there will be a terrible drop in oxygen which we need to breathe. Wake up.

The IPCC is a political organisation which releases it's conclusions (summary for policy makers) before the scientific report, the scientific report is then tailored to fit the summary for policy makers. The IPCC (headed by a railway engineer, not a climate scientists) is no more qualified as an authority on climate science than Barney the Dinosaur is to be an authority on Astrophysics. Every prediction made in previous IPCC reports has failed wildly. The IPCC ignore the 16 years of no temp rise

CO2 is a relatively insignificant greenhouse gas with massively diminishing returns over 250ppm when it comes to trapping heat, H2O is the most important and variable greenhouse gas.
Skeptics are skeptics not deniers. It is those who believe in AGW the climate change alarmists who could be called deniers as they deny reality in favor of there wildly inaccurate computer models, You may want to put an insulting label on scientists who don't agree the sky is falling in Chicken Little but this makes your position weaker not stronger. The reason these insulting labels are used is because your side can't win the scientific debate, no matter how many claims of consensus you make.
Your right CO2 is only 0.03% of atmosphere so is too tiny to have any effect. So just inject yourself with a teeny EBOLA VIRUS or eat a tiny speck of plutonium for breakfast — its harmless!!– try it and see!

How many computer models need to be proven totally wrong? How many predicted apocalyptic disasters need not happen? How many 'expert' predictions on sea level, temperature rise, polar bear count etc etc.. need to be proven wrong, before you stop drinking the kool-aid? Earth hasn't warmed in over 15 years, wake up. Contributing CO2 to the atmosphere- a trace gas that makes up less than .04% of our atmosphere no less- is not only not a bad thing, its a GREAT thing. I dont know if you know this, but trees and plants feed off of it, so if you care about the environment, a rise above '400 ppm' (scary music plays and lightning crashes in background) wouldn't be so bad. For the record, we have had ice-ages in the past with the CO2 levels above 6000 ppm, so this notion that a rise above 400 ppm will fry us all and flood everything, is just propagandistic nonsense from the dogmatic climate gods on the 'scientific' green left.
