  1. This is absurd to say co2 with less than 1% contribution in atmosphere can cause any crisis !
Even the john cook 97% consensus proves co2 has not such a role in temp.
97% didnt agree that co2 causation of crisis is a wrong statement, they said "yes it has effect" that effect is less than 1% , and we know co2 capacity to trap heat is way less than water vapor and other gases that contribute in atmosphere

  2. When u only hear, climate change make sense but when u geniunely wanna learn everything , every detail , suddenly climate change become very wobbly and questionable ! Nothing in it makes sense !
The fact that recorded data which is literally recorded history that has no HUMAN INTERFRENCE in it show we improved alot in many aspects, meanwhile all the PREDICTIONS being announced in media since decades suggest a WORSENING which we are even better than their time!
PREDICTIONS are PROCCESSED data by an "expert" , which means human interference , the mixture of pure data with "expert"'s OPINIONS !

  3. Todays generation dont know the main story .. yes The earth is warming very mildly , but its volatile but ppl dont know the temp. Uptrend has started about 1880s , but in 1970s they came up with a new theory :"our co2 is ACCELERATING it" , based on CO2 role (theory) they tried to predict the future temprature, almost all of the calculation models OVERPREDICTED, as if they could correctly predict the actual temp. If they omitted an extra element from the equasion which is co2..
The temp. Uptrend Still stayed mild and unaffected
recorded data shows we are getting better from many aspects , bht its so strange and peculiar that PREDICTIONS that are PROCCDSSED DATA (mixture of data and "experts" OPINIONS) vision a very dark and scary future !

  4. TDC Global Warming Will End…God's Way

The Bible tells us that "the Former of the earth and the Maker of it…. did not create it simply for nothing." (Isaiah 45:18) The Bible also says: "The earth endures forever."—Ecclesiastes 1:4, The New English Bible

Yes, God will not allow the earth to be rendered uninhabitable. Rather, he will intervene in human affairs and bring an end to failed human rule and those who have no regard for the earth. At the same time, he will preserve alive all who lead morally upright lives and sincerely want to please him. Says Proverbs 2:21, 22: "The upright are the ones that will reside in the earth; and the blameless are the ones that will be left over in it. As regards the wicked, they will be cut off from the very earth; and as for the treacherous, they will be torn away from it."

  5. Democrats have an insane way of combating climate change which is a natural event. They move 90,000 tons of earth in open mines with large fossil-fueled tractors/trucks, to get one car's worth of rare elements. They then ship it by fossil-fueled cargo ship to the USA where we make an electric car which is charged by a cable that runs back to a central power plant that often uses fossil fuels to generate the electricity. The Batteries have a half-life compared to fossil-fuel-burning vehicles. The batteries cost 1/4+ of the cars' original value to replace and then what to do with the toxic waste? Not to mention that long trips back home or vacations require you to stop often to recharge or the higher taxes, or the cost of installing a recharge station in your home.

  6. Reaserch needed how wars, regional conflicts, oil depots bombing, frequent war exercises affect the CLIMATE CHANGE
So peace treaties, denuclearisation, final border lines drawn needed to end the annoymities, greed of economy selling arms need ro get over.
Focus on new techs on spaceships to travel at almost the speed of light to land on Earth like planets.

  8. Thanks for the well-put-together video. But no thanks for the animation of the sole black kid as the symbol of 'hunger'. I didn't see many more black people in other parts of your video. As someone who is educating others through this platform, what kind of message are you passing out to other ignorant people, kids for example who watch your video?

  9. 1. No, the average temp has gone up around 1 degree according to satellite readings, which aren't affected by urban sprawl.
    2. We're coming out of a mini iceage, if the temperatures didn't go up at this point, I'd be concerned. Just as they did in the Minoan, Roman and Medieval warm periods, the temperatures will go up, then they'll drop and we'll be freezing. More die in cold than in warmth (primates originated on the planet when CO2 was 1,000 ppm and our ancestors came out of Africa. Warmth is far less of an issue than cold.)
    3. 400m000 Hiroshima atomic bombs has the same output as if the sun gave out about 0.25% more warmth, which it can do and there's nothing we can do about it. Indeed, as it ages and expands, it WILL do, and MUCH more.
    4. We have had fewer hurricanes and other climactic anomolies of late, and MUCH fewer have died from them because we're advanced enough and have the energy to move people out of harms way while building housing that can withstand a great deal. That will stop if we stop using fossil fuels. We'll be back to wood and mud huts and FAR more people dying.
    5. When CO2 was at 6,000 ppm, THAT was when life blossomed on Earth. We pump CO2 into warm greenhouses at 1,000 ppm because that's the optimum level for maximum plant growth. They love it. We've produced more food in recent years that ever before t6hanks to fertilizers (fossil fuel based) and increased CO2.
    6. The ice caps have melted in the past, and the polar bears etc. are still here. If anything, they thrive. When the Vikings found Vinland, we were growing Roman vines to make fine wine in the North of England and Scotland. While modern, altered vines can grow in the colder climes, in Roman times, those vines wouldn't have survived. We've been warmer, CO2 has been MUCH higher, we did not turn into Venus.
    7. Waters rise and fall all the time. Ephesus, in the Bible, was a port. It's now 2 miles from the sea. Waters rise relatively slowly (barring asteroid hits, which we cannot stop, or massive earthquakes and tsunamis, which we also cannot stop, and animals and people MOVE. This is a living planet. It's not static and it's not going to stop its usual behaviour just because we're here.
    8. Large amounts of CO2 ensure burgeoning agriculture, especially when combined with fertilizers. Take the latter away, don't help third world countries to get water (or steal it all in order to get lithium out of the ground for batteries), THEN they will starve.
    9. If everyone stopped using fossil fuels tomorrow, it would have a MINISCULE effect on CO2 levels. CO2 in 0.04% of the 1% of greenhouse gases. Of that, humans produce around 5%. The rest is entirely natural — plants and animals breathing, seas evaporating in the summer, volcanic erruptions, etc. The biggest human contributor to CO2 is China while is opening 2 coal mines a WEEK to keep up with the western demands for solar panels and wind farms (both of which need fossil fuels to make. China makes 70% of those). China is NOT going to quit. However, if we stop using fossil fuels in the west, we will no longer have reliable power (wind farms need diesel to keep them going when there's no wind and fuel delivered by helicopter when they freeze. Solar power, obviously, only works dyuring the day and we don't have enough battery storage to keep the lights on for 5 minutes using that. Solar panels are less than 30% efficient brand new and deteriorate rapidly. They are not economically viable for recycling at the moment. Wind turbines also cannot be recycled and are buried. In addition, while reniewable energy sources can power our stuff (occasionally) they cannot make it. Without oil we have no medical supplies since most of them require plastic. Similarly we will need to start killing a lot of animals because we'll no longer have soles for our shoes, warm clothes to wear (modern clothing uses oil based materials to keep us warm), glasses, most medicines, food imported to the Northern hemisphere in winter (no engines, no flights, no power for refrigeration), computers, mobile phones, etc. etc. etc. We will not make ANY difference to the climate, we will kill billions from cold, illness, and starvation. More will die as the people, with nothing to lose, overthrow those govts that impoverished them by taking away cheap energy. Societal breakdown, revolution and war will be the inevitable consequence when you tell advanced people they must die because you no longer have medicines, hospitals, clothing, fuel or the means to stay warm in winter.
    10. Scientific progress will end without fossil fuels because we will no longer have the computers or the reliable power to do it.
    11. In a hundred years, based on present analyses, our coastlines will rise less than a foot. You're working off MODELS not FACTS. The models are going for extreme predictions because that gets them money. Every model has shot upwards without regard for actual facts and, when measured against reality, proved wildly shy of the mark. They are assuminng completely unrealistic predictions that have no basis in anything, except the modellers imaginations. Any of those models, given known facts and left to run, predict wildly exaggerated results compared to what actually happened. In addition, they struggle with water vapour (responsible for 30% of global temperatures) and don't seem to know that fresh water freezes. They are on a scale that makes large sections of the Andes disappear and not be included in their assessments.

I could go on, but this is tedious. The article writers don't know a thing about climate, they're working off summaries of summaries based in dreams, not facts. They ignore the sun, water vapour, and natural changes and assume a planet that had, at one time, 10 times as much CO2 as presently available has suddenly become so ultra-sensitive, it can't cope with our pitiful 5% of 0.04% of 1%. It can, it has, it will be fine.

  10. World Governments and Media using fear and propaganda convincing the population to give the government more of their money through more taxes.

    That's climate change.

  11. The good news about global warming is that it’s not being caused by increasing solar output or any other natural uncontrollable cause — and also that mankind generally understands that it’s the ‘amplified greenhouse effect’ which is the source of increasing global temperatures. With this in mind, it behooves us to rapidly advance and apply our scientific and technological knowledge to the point that the burning of fossil fuels to produce electricity will become as antiquated as the burning of whale oil for light.
Quote: “Anxiety must go. It must be replaced by faith and solemn confidence in the outworking of the divine plan.”

Note: As sunlight (photons) is warming the surface of the world, surface heat energy is also radiating away from our planet in the form of ‘infrared radiation’ which passes freely thru the atmospheric gases of nitrogen and oxygen which do not absorb heat. Indeed, if it weren’t for greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide that ‘do interact’ strongly with infrared energy and ‘impede the escape’ of Earth’s radiant heat, then the planet would be perpetually frozen solid. Thankfully, even though greenhouse gases comprise only 4/10ths of one percent of the atmosphere, they are so powerful that they maintain a ‘blanketing effect’ by constantly ‘absorbing and releasing’ infrared heat energy over and over, again and again. In doing so, they gyrate wildly, thus causing them to vigorously collide with other atmospheric molecules which, in turn, collide with other air molecules, imparting the kinetic energy of motion throughout the atmosphere — and this vibratory state registers as temperature.

  12. 00:06 Climate change is causing significant global warming and extreme weather events.
00:53 Limiting emissions is crucial for mitigating the impact of climate change.
01:36 Unchecked emissions could lead to food production collapse and rising seas
02:22 Melting ice will cause rising ocean levels.
03:11 Warming contributes to more frequent extreme weather events
03:56 Opposition to climate change policies funded by oil and coal industry.
04:37 Citizens need to exercise rights for collective action on climate change.
05:16 Citizens need to demand action on climate change.

  13. Can you answer this for me please: so when you place a giant piece of ice the ice occupies and amount equal to its liquid equivalent. When the ice melts the water in the tub remains the same level. So why will the water levels rise when ice in the Antarctic melts?

  14. CO2 and temp track very closely. They have gone up and down in a range for as long as we have good numbers and probably much longer. Now the CO2 has burst UP out of that range. THE TEMP WILL GO UP. The Repubs. can saw no all they want but it will happen. Unfortunately they control the government and any hope of action VOTE BLUE! Yes it is political.

  15. 8 years old and do we see a lot of progress in the right direction to avoid the worst-case scenario, a total collapse of civilization due to various factors related to global warming? Instead, humankind is still waging petty wars, fighting each other in economic competition and listening to Trumps crazed antics about immigrants eating pets in their home neighborhoods. How bright could the future be if we managed to overcome greed, hostility and selfishness and engage in altruism, empathy and solidarity instead. A BIG leap of consciousness is needed is we want to survive as a global civilization.

  16. Jeez. I can see why people are running away from this. Can you pack more angst into any 5 minutes? So. We have a problem. But we as humans cannot deal with this avalanche of doomerism and so that reduces this video to another piece of clickbait even though I agree with many of these statements.
