Robert Glasser, Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Disaster Risk Reduction, after attending the meeting of the Senior Management Group on Disaster Risk Reduction for Resilience at FAO Headquarters on February 1st, talks about the importance of disaster risk reduction in addressing climate change and the impact of natural disaster on the agriculture sector, in order to increase farmers’ resilience. He also underlines the need to address global warming as a priority.
