5 minutes in Lidzen says there was more warming before CO2 was significant at 3:00 minutes in. This is simply not true. Warming between 1880 and 1980 was about 0.25C. Since 1980 to 2010 it was an additional 0.5 degrees, which is twice as large. I picked 2010 cause it was near when this was made. Its up another 0.25C since then. The last time his statement was true, was around 2000, which is the last time he looked. These people need to come up with new stuff.
IPPC summary is not written by the scientist, but by the governments that all have a agenda.

Climate change is real. Climate change is absolutely nowhere near as catastrophic as it's touted to be by many. I cannot believe I've heard this conversation for most of my life and there's always people trying to doomsday the world even though they've been wrong for literally decades in a row. If there's a mismatch between what the IPCC predicted and what reality is, assuming what would have made up the difference is open to question regardless of whether the mismatch is in the cooling or warming directions. But the mismatch does not vindicate alarmism. It just means you have questionable model assumptions, and the difference may or may not be CO2.

None of the extreme weather events shows a tendency to get worse.
The planets gets greener since satellite measurements in 1979 and record harvests are reported year by year from all parts of the world.
The reference year for IPCC 1850 was one of the coldest years of the last 10.000 years and failed harvests were reported from everywhere in Europe with millions of death from hunger.

If you look at other episodes, you'll see that the show is meant to be a debate. Mehdi Hasan has had a number of guests on regarding the Israel/Palestine conflict (he is well known to support the Palestinian movement for liberation) and he grills equally guests in favor of the Palestinians as he does guests he has on that argue for the Israeli position. If the show is meant to be an interview, it's meant to be a challenging and adversarial one. The host made his professional bones debating (he wrote a bestselling book on it). If he was meant to simply ask questions and let the guest wax poetic, he wouldn't have remained the host for… I think 7 years?

Climate has been gradually warming since the glaciers created the Grand Canyon. Did humans cause that 15000 years ago? No!!! Today we have technology, we test theories, build models and spend billions on research.
People spend their entire lives studying this. It is not their opinion, its what the data shows! And EVERY other scientist looked at the data, did their own research and experiments and came to the same conclusion.
