Saddest thing is that at time of this video's release (2016), 2015 was the hottest year on record since 1880. At time of this comment (2023), 2020 was the hottest year on record alongside 2016.

What most people don't understand about the "two degrees" is that it's two degrees *average*. In some parts of the world the temperatures could rise 1 degree, in some other by 3 degrees. On average that's two, but in some places the changes could be extreme.

What can single individuals do tho, I live in Germany, a country that praises more about it's climate friendliness, than actually being it, and I don't know what is in my Power to support a move towards betterment, and not worsening. There are laws against Cars, but I don't see any Laws against Energy suppliers and their Factories.
It should be fairly possible to filter/Convert fossil fuel based Factories and Powerplants exhaust gasses, to emit essentially just water vapor. but without pressure from Government, no Company will ever feel responsible enough to install/invest into something like that. And we now have a 3 party lead, that is partially composed of the Green party, and yet no meaningful movement is being done (I voted green too, in hopes to tip the balance and trigger some much needed change)

Funny thing every climate model has been off exponentially. None have been close.
Ot a big deal there are many coastal cities that are mow below sea level. Yes pollution needs to be reduced but the only real way to have actual impact would be to stop developing nations from developing. Us puts out an incredibly small amout if co2. China and india put out the majority. Are we supposed to tell them they have to kive as peasants? Technology will solve this and no not solar
This is funny because it has all happened except Florida isn't under water yet and New York city is only flooded sometimes. Yet they still deny climate change today and we know who I am talking about i.e. Republics. It will cost money to try and fix so I assume that is their reason. That's why the insurance companies have cancelled the policies of homeowners in places like Florida. Sure you can live there but too bad when your house is destroyed. It hasn't even gotten very warm yet. It is just the start of the disaster. It is sad to see all those forests burn. By the way scientists have been watching this disaster unfold since the 70's. It is like talking to a rock. I will miss those cute penguins (10,000 emperor chicks just died but their attitude is I don't live there. Ha ha yes they do live on the planet and they are next.)

It’s so funny how the rich feel like they know everything. At one point it was called global cooling because winter was too cold. Then global warming because summer was too hot. Now climate change because they can’t find a name that would stick and make sense… then they said planet trees, daylight savings, use less gas’s and oil to help the climate. Then trun around years later and say cows cause climate change, we need to cut thousands of trees for climate change, use electric cars that use oil for climate change, the rich an powerful can use jets, planes and cars but the poor and average must pay more in taxes because of climate change… ppl are stupid to believe the most pollution comes from normal everyday ppl. The rich make the most pollution. There fighting a damn war rite now. Russia and Ukraine. Before that was America in every Muslim country for damn generations already. Miss me with this nonsense
The UN, WHO, WEF, All governments of the world do absolutely nothing about it. Im 12 and I have been debating my dad on climate change for awhile. It is now my goal to become a climate change scientist.
It's the UN big misinformation on climate change they fund scientists to get the results they need to lie to the world's population we need CO2, by lowering it this will kill our planet stop and tell the truth its a money grab by the elites. 26 years from now, we'd have to have made significant changes to our lifetyle. We'd need alt energy sources, to refuse buying goods to stop industrial, vehicular polluters, stop buying beef, supporting big dairy/meat industry. Grow lots of indigenous trees, boycott big corporations, demand gov. change/accountability.
