The comment about India and China is a bit misleading. India has one of the best climate change performances. China is medium. Canada, Australia , Japan are way behind. USA is at the very bottom.

Today in central Florida temperature was as cold as in Anchorage Alaska 39 F and in Daytona Beach area 33, which is much lower than even Anchorage Alaska. If government bought Scientists truly believe in Global warming is such a harsh way, tell us why even Florida has become as cold as Alaska. Why Scandinavian countries are as cold as they are every year.

Climate change is not in dispute, but the degree is not anything like as bad as we are being told..We need more fossil fuels so we have cheap energy. Couple that with more nuclear and hydro. Wind and solar are useful backup but are niche options. Net Zero is not achievable, will achieve nothing and will bankrupt us all. Forget Green / Climate change policies and opt for Common Sense, well-thought-out policies that benefit mankind, not destroy it. The interviewer clearly is biased in his angle on it all, and this is why we are all in this mess. The BBC is not a good place to be if you want to find clear information on this matter.
And there's the rub…. we have to give up the ease and the convenience to which we have become accustomed.

The problem is the world's worst polluter is not going to cooperate in cutting emissions. The U. S. announced at the Paris Climate Accord that the military which is causing the largess of the climate pollution is off the table for discussion or negotiation. That any cuts in carbon emissions are on a voluntary basis only. The U. S. stance is ignorant and belligerent. They have a responsibility and culpability to do everything to drastically reduce the carbon emissions from the major polluters particularly the military. They have a duty and obligation to preserve and protect all life on this planet but as noted by an independent global poll taken some years ago, a majority vote responded by answering that the greatest obstacle to peace is the United States. I so agree. The U. S. continues to fan the flame of conflict by having ready seed and an established terrorist gang of the C. I. A. arranging for armed conflict and contributing to all our war such as the current conflict raging on between Ukraine and Russia which is appealing ignorance. The Europeans already have been exposed to nuclear fallout from the Chernobyl accident, with their soils and agriculture contaminated now for generations to come and the best they are willing to do is clammer for more membership in the trillion dollar annual membership of the elite club of N. A . T. O. and offer up their national soil for more U. S. nuclear weapons to reach Moscow that much sooner for a complete human, plant, animal, and all living matter to be completely instantly incinerated. It is pure madness. It certainly appears that disaster is imminent because to avoid that would have taken the highest level of intelligence, and the unequivocal cooperation by every nation to responsibly and honestly commit to scientific measurable reductions in carbon emissions and that is something they are abstinent about, they will not cooperate and are willing to accept the perilous consequences and tragic results of climate disasters globally to profoundly effect all life on the planet.
Just so you know, not all Americans are deniers. Many Americans are on board understanding that climate change is real and are pressing the issue, making personal changes and voting for those who advocate climate policy. I personally ave been in a pit of despair and grief for years with one heart break after another. These US talking head politicians have strings attached to corporate interests. Right now the midlands American farmers are being strong armed by BIG OIL, being assaulted, threatened and even having their businesses destroyed to prevent moving to regenerative energy systems. Biden despite his faults is the first US President to call this an existential crisis and create policies to support action and implementation. Harris will continue down this path when elected.
But it still isn't close to enough. Everyone who cares about the future of life one earth needs to get out on the streets and be heard. When we all rise up at every possible march and demonstration, we can make great changes. We can change overnight putting all efforts towards this one collective goal if everyone is on the same page. But they say I'm a dreamer. I'm not the only one.
