  1. yes, decreasing carbon will cool the planet, wait a minute we are breaking cold records worldwide. We should tax the trees leaves at fall. tax the volcanoes and ocean too. We will all pay for our ignorance in the end.

  2. Ending the UK's contribution to climate change is easy because there is no UK contribution to climate change. Climate change is a perfectly natural occurrence that has been going on for billions of years and will continue to go on with or without man's interference. It is a good scheme for raising taxes though and that's exactly what it sounds like.

  3. By waiting for the ocean to rise a meter, there will be a forced migration. Lots of old buildings will have to be torn down and with new building codes forcing the purchase of allegedly green building products, the government can make it easier to pick and choose numbers to tally green washing their hands of perceived responsibility.

  4. The worlds so called leaders couldn't run a lemonade stand let alone do anything to solve any real problems….. They're Good at creating real problems though

  5. If we, the UK really wanted to cut CO2 emissions, we would have to cut hundreds of thousands of jobs in industrial sectors. And as Nigel Farage said, that wouldn't be an intelligent idea. He's exactly right. That's why Trump dropped out of the G7 things, to save industrial jobs. This the part environmentalists and anti-Trump supporters don't clearly understand.

  6. Not even a real expectation! What about everyones good friend "Global warming"? Have you forgotten about that? What is it, another 12 years before it is irreversible? Yeah we'll all be dead by 2050 whats a little stop to greenhouse gases going to do.

  7. Know that, factually, most nations reaching net zero greenhouse emissions by 2050, in thirty years would avoid some permanent destruction to millions of lives, and our world as we know it. Some. People don’t seem to comprehend that the individuals that are going to be affected in the most disturbing ways are going to be— us. Our children. Our grandchildren. And all generations after. This is a world changing situation. But people act like it isn’t even as threatening as complete action within even two decades.
    Or one.
