  1. This should have been done 20-30 years ago and we should already be at 0, now looking at other areas where we can make a difference. It’s too little too late and she fucking dares to say that. Fuck you May, just fuck you!

  2. I find it extraordinary how the Main Stream Media, supposedly with access to a wealth of information, and run by expert journalists, who are supposed to be experts on information gathering, are either completely incompetent, or politically motivated liars. Either of which is not a good thing.
The BBC actually state "What is the point of UK reducing emmissions, when countries like China and India are so polluting."
And all of the media outlets claiming that these proposed measures are the first time that an industrialised country has gone so far.
My point ? China and India have made a declaration last year that ALL vehicles in China and India will be electric by 2030 !
20 years earlier than Theresa Mays proposal. Don't take my word for it. Check it out on the internet.
But of course, the BBC "journalists" would not have been privvy to such secret information.
They also did not question the ridiculousness of this policy proposal.
Did anyone in the BBC think to question the validity of running everyones heating, vehicles, and manufacturing using renewable energy sources ?
It would take over 100 solar panels to run one car for one mile per day ! (Using average estimates)
One of those massive wind turbines can produce enough energy to run around 20 family electric cars given todays average usage.
So the UK would need over two million wind turbines …. just to run the transport system ! And that is before we have even started on heating, lighting, manufacturing, communications, and other domestic electrical devices. Activities which it is not difficult to calculate, would require a further 300 million solar panels in addition to the 2 million wind turbines.
Sounding like fairy tale politics yet ?
So, let me whisper a word in your ear explaining what this is really all about.
    Nuclear.

  3. The UK is an international joke they have had no functioning government for over a year and Boris Johnson is about to become PM and yet still they are doing a lot more than Australia to tackle climate change. 🙄
True, they will be aided by a return to a semi preindustrial economy post brexit but still impressive.
