The Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) launched the Net-Zero Energy Rating System in 2018. While recognizing that energy efficiency is the first step towards advancing net-zero, the rating system will drive market transformation to enhance building energy efficiency on a continuous basis while using renewable sources to meet building energy demands.
