CCUS Zone: Tackling the North’s emissions via Carbon Capture, Usage and Storage

Jonathan Briggs, Senior Advisor OGCI Climate Investments, delivers his presentation.

The session considers the role of carbon capture, usage and storage in seeking to ensure a net-zero carbon future by tackling the impact of high-emitting sectors as well as interacting with other technologies such as hydrogen. Each Northern industrial cluster was given the opportunity to present their specific projects, before joining a panel to discuss the wider policy challenges and areas for collaboration.
