  1. Although I don't live in the Netherlands my family heritage originates in Rotterdam and Dordrecht. The history fascinates me; we come from ship builders, and more currently books which, incidentally, I found out while working in a bookstore! Thanks for providing a peek into my history.

  2. I know NL will fall deeply if not start reconstruct canals&,rivers to have controll over this watters is need to know how &what need to build before you construct this canals plus the land must be up minimum 50meter over seea to resist to watter pach hammer can come just over night from see level higher .And need to know how if has not do this construction then will fall all under seea

  3. Storm barriers and river management are what they are there for, not climate change or rising sea levels.
Why does that have to be crammed in again? it is really the last thing we are concerned with here because the climate has been the same for over a 100 years, slightly warmer but minimal and the sea level is rising really slowly, slower than even previously thought.
If a little further research had been done, it becomes clear that we have a completely different problem here, for two important reasons our country is sinking like crazy, reclaimed land is going to settle, so it is sinking and the biggest problem for the Netherlands is isostatic rebound

  4. This winter, you'll see beautiful photos from above. The Netherlands, a land of water, everywhere flooded due to heavy rain, never seen so much rainfall. Yet, no major calamities.

  5. After watching this video this made me wonder, if water levels are always rising on netherlands, was the land supposed to be under the water? if it was then why?

  6. We would have to rename it Nether waters than I guess…Please show some respect when making videos about other countries, do the BASIC homework first and look up how to PRONOUNCE names..It is a matter of BASIC decency and respect. We learned your weird dialect, now, you at least get our names right??? HOW HARD CAN IT BE???

  7. The Philippines should learn from this! Water management is the key! With the recent Habagat and Super Typhoon Carina, which left cities in Metro Manila submerged…

  8. "Netherlands will sink underwater by 2030" articles say.
Yea no, look at them floating. Looks like NL is the safest coast within this global warming era.
