  1. What has horse rescue to do with climate change? Do you really think we donate to you so that you can divert money to political campaigns? I heard a great saying a while ago: "Go woke. Go broke". Stop trying to the save the world and do what people fund you to do: Save horses. Leave world saving to the elected officials of governments.

Oh and grow up and knock off the grandstanding.

  2. Hmmm….."sustainable development" = agenda 21 jargon. Can see now who really pulls your strings. I thought you were here for the sake of horse's welfare, but seems you're just another nwo puppet. Sad, very sad.

  3. This is a brilliant set of presentations, thank you everyone!
Working donkeys, horses and mules support 600 million people globally, often the poorest communities. I am glad to hear the case for their health and welfare being made so well and that World Horse Welfare do exactly as their name states!
It's better for the horses, it's better for the communities they are part of and it is brilliant to see donkeys, horses and mules in need being discussed at major international events.

  4. As always, many thanks to World Horse Welfare for their support and help with us at The Donkey Sanctuary to make this event happen. It is not widely known that globally there are 100 million working donkeys, horses and mules and their health and welfare are key to some of the poorest communities in the world being able to live sustainably. As two charities we cannot reach them all, so we need to get this message out to governments and other stakeholders who can help many. many more working equids have the care they need. It's win-win when this happens and we need to keep making more and more people aware of this! Thanks again, I enjoyed being part of it!

  5. What a great range of contributors from around the world. This event shows how much we are linked to equines on this planet and how it really is a global issue. Thank you to the contributors and charities for keeping this important matter on the sustainable development agenda to protect humans and horses, donkeys and mules alike.
