IPA Director of Policy Gideon Rozner says the push for net zero emissions by 2050 will cause the loss of over 650,000 jobs according to a study conducted by the Institute of Public Affairs.
“Our research today shows we are putting over 600,000 jobs at rick, 300,000 of those are in agriculture alone, the rest of them are in mining, manufacturing, oil refinery,” he told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
Mr Rozner says the job losses “will be contained not only to blue collar industries but to the regions” and they will impact whole communities.
“We aren’t just going to lose hundreds of thousands of jobs here, we’re going to lose entire communities.”

I think we will run out of oil and gas before we can cause enough permanently damage to the world. The cleanest and safest energy is nuclear but no one wants to talk about that. Also producing more electric cars to replace gas ones will pile on the environmental damage. Does any one consider how much oil, gas and fuel is used to produce the metal that goes into a car. We should improve working from home conditions and take %60 of the vehicles of the road, environment saved, thank you. Not to mention how much of tax payers money goes into maintaining these roads.

That and the neglect of nuclear facilities like Fukushema that have poured so much radioactive water into the Pacific Ocean. Between radio active waste and China over fishing resources in the Pacific, along with all the neighbouring seas, plundering fishing zones of all the food resources.
