Is this the same railway that cancelled the Leeds to Manchester electrification? Just how "green" are the recently launched more frequent, much longer and heavier diesels that chug their exhaust fumes into the towns and valleys along this incredibly busy route?
Iâve fixed it for you:
– Using 100% renewable energy now
– Making our cars and vans 100% electric, no PHEVs
– Electrifying 100% all of our railways with the various technologies, and get rid of bi-mode diesels and turn them into bi-modes with batteries.
How is this possible whenever you see a video with freight trains 95% of them are diesel hauled. Even the routes and approaches to the ports are not electrified? Admirable aim but how?
Keep up the incredible work. Including helping the environment.
I think people donât understand the improvement that railways have over diesel lorries, or they just donât think at all.
The improvements that are being made should not be overlooked either, making the railways even greener than they are
Honestly I think more business should use trains for there freight rather then the lorries
