The World Meteorological Organization (WMO) on Friday said that water-related hazards dominate the list of disasters in terms of both the human and economic toll over the past 50 years.
According to WMO’s Atlas of Mortality and Economic Losses from Weather, Climate and Water Extremes, the United Nations spokesperson Farhan Haq told reporters in New York that “of the top 10 disasters, the hazards that led to the largest human losses during the period have been droughts with 650,000 deaths, storms 577,232 deaths, floods 58,700 deaths, and extreme temperature 55,736 deaths.”
“With regard to economic losses, the top 10 events include storms and floods,” he said.
Haq also said that over a 50 year period the data reveals that “weather, climate and water hazards accounted for 50 percent of all disasters, 45 percent of all reported deaths, and 74 percent of all reported economic losses at the global level.”

Saturn will punish The Demon Xi Pin Government fo being Covid 19.producer
30 years is a timeframe that is highly unlikely. The IPCC models don't implement all data points and are faulty by default. Any prediction based on faulty datasets is expensive nonsense. As seen by Reality outpacing predictions in any conceivable metric. Water will be an issue in America in the next 3 years. In central Europe floods will be way more frequent as In mainland China. Desertification will contribute to both problems. Draughts becoming sandstorm fabrics and floods mudslides both removing topsoil. Without topsoil no food production. Without Jetstream no weather forecast. Without weather forecast no food production. Without metric tons of water per field no food production. Etc.
The food security over the next 10 years is a crucial problem to be solved. We don't have 3 decades left that's just bollocks. We had 30 years ago 40 years left. And we had 150 years ago 160 years left. Assuming that climate change moves that slowly is unscientific nonsense. The observed factors responsible for tipping points are all moving faster than predicted. The sea ice in the Arctic retreats faster. The extreme weather events are more extreme than predicted. The Jetstream is collapsing faster than predicted and so on and so forth. Basing the survival of your people on predictions created to make money is insanity.
