Never before in human history have we been richer, more advanced or powerful. And yet we feel overwhelmed in the face of rapid climate change. It seems simple on the surface. Greenhouse gases trap energy from the Sun and transfer it to our atmosphere. This leads to warmer winters, harsher summers. Dry places become drier and wet places wetter. Countless ecosystems will die while the rising oceans swallow coasts and the cities we build on them.
So why don’t we just like… prevent all of that? Well, it’s complicated.

Who would say that a video sponsored by a billionaire would try to say that communism never worked and proceed to offer solutions to fix capitalism instead. Voting is a ruse, we all know that the elections are won by those with the better marketing (and money for marketing). The consumer won’t fix the industry for pressuring it, we don’t finance the industry, banks and governments finance it. We buy what we are offered to buy, at the price we are capable of paying. What we need is the end of capitalism and you know it, a system that is built upon endless growth just can’t be sustainable.

Woud you make a video abaut electric cars, and the impact of them? I feel like the mineing of cobalt, lithium, and the chemical stuff they need to make the batterys are way worse on the enviroment then driveing a inner combustion engine car
I myself personally am spiritual but I once talked with a religious person about climate change and they literally said “it isn’t my problem I’ll end up in heaven anyway” and I asked them about future generations and they really didn’t care bc they would be dead
It is frightfully difficult to control the weather.
Even if we do something right now changes will only be noticable after three Generations but people are just too ignorant to do something about it and the countrys of the world are just too lazy to do something for Exampel instead of saving Antarktia they carved it up becaus compared to the 90s its melting 6 times faster
There's a great documentary which refutes that climate change is man made. It's called climate: the movie (the real truth). It's eye opening. A must watch.
Humans are very good at closing the gate after the horses have escaped. The tragic truth is that, as the most serious effects of climate change are felt, people will overreact and revolt against real and imagined culprits. Probably a rejection of science and technology will give us a new dark age.
What can you actually do? Use plenty of insulation on your house and stock up on sandbags. Prepare for disruption in food, energy and water supplies. That’s about all.

It is better to tax wastage based on the best technology available for that end need. Only tax the delta wastage above the best. this will be the faste way to remove carbon and methane releases. Smarticus2024
