Treasurer Josh Frydenberg says the federal government “absolutely factor in” the economic costs of a transition to net zero.
“And you’ve got to get that transition right,” Mr Frydenberg added.
“You’ve got to ensure that the transition is smooth, you’ve got to ensure that it leads to affordable energy and a reliable energy grid.
“We’re very conscious of all those facts and factors.”

If govts of Australia promoted and supported small and big business to increase manufacturing and specialist industries as a percentage of GDP there'd be plenty of jobs and tax revenue for growth.
