Over the years, about 337 million Africans have been affected by several disasters such as flood, drought, storm, extreme temperature, earthquake, landslide, wildfire, volcanic activity and mass movement. This event aims to showcase Africa’s efforts on disaster risk reduction with focus on linking MHEWS to early action through innovative disaster risk financing.
