Former NSW Labor Treasurer Michael Costa says the fact nobody knows the details of the Coalition’s deal on net zero by 2050 is an “absolute disgrace”.
“What have the Nationals actually signed up for other than another cabinet position – it’s an absolute disgrace,” he told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
“There should have been a white paper of some form put out before this decision was made and a proper debate.
“You don’t have a debate after the event when you’ve agreed in principle, you have a debate before the event so people do know what they’re going to do.”

As you know, the left wants to pass their USD $3.5 TRILLION spending bill, which Biden says actually costs zero, yet the dems are now fighting over astonishingly stupid ideas like having us pay income tax on capital gains WHEN/AS THE VALUE INCREASES — instead of the current PAY TAX ON CAPITAL GAINS WHEN THE ASSET IS SOLD. The democrats of course tell us that if the asset value decreases, we'll get a refund! Who the hell really believes that one? The dems will place a low cap on losses (like $5,000), with a carry-forward provision for the balance. They said billionaires only, but now…. well – that has likely changed.
Also, I just learned a few days ago that all airplanes will no longer be needed and can be scrapped in ~20 or so years because we will have bullet trains running all over the country. I guess that Biden will tell us the cost for ~50,000 miles of tracks + the bullet trains will be zero dollars as well.
