How does anyone propose to plug the volcano in the palma islands? that is causing tonnes of carbon emissions per hour.
Australia used to have a world leading carbon pricing system but in the last decade the issue has gotten mired in partisan politics. Carbon pricing is the most economically efficient way to decarbonise and we need to make it politically attractive again.
Australia will have burnt to a crisp by 2050. If their Prime Minister doesn't care why should we?
