Those kinds of cuts are not practical. Rush forward. That is the solution. New tech is the solution. But it won't come about by government spending itself into oblivion. It comes by means of free trade and business friendly environments.

CO2 represents only about .04% of the atmosphere and human activity only accounts for variability in 25% of that. There is huge debate on whether carbon is our biggest issue in climate change but it will be very profitable for some. Climate change will likely be the next pandemic…with lockdowns, restrictions, special powers, etc, etc

You're trying to decrease emissions, I'm going to increase emissions and make a lot of money, committed to saving money and economic benefits. Warming for me is just a three or five degrees increase in temperature, no direct impact So I chose cheaper products I sneer at environmentally friendly expensive products I'm even happy to see other countries being severely affected because it means they're going down. The value of taiwan is relatively high even without promotion
Absolutely agree. I think climate change has been inflated dramatically for commercial exploitation but that historical pollution must be considered at all times. It will show the advancements that have been wasted by the west. Also it will keep in check these silly and stale theory based climate actions.

Modi is correct. CO2 emissions are used up by plants and trees to nourish themselves, whence they release oxygen in return. There is no unused balance, a thing that has not been detetmined by science. Countries must not be deluded by the UN autocrats, who are corrupt. If the UN can stop China's pollution, then perhaps it will be credible.
China did not attend, neither did Russia. They both smell a scam. Organized corporate green washing, with public money. Let each country accept Global air quality standards, and achieve that. California worked to reduce emissions, to reduce pollution, so can the world.

I think every one is aware of the planet and the need to respect our resources but this climate cramfest is a lot of crap to swallow
