I have a great idea for fighting “climate change”… Eliminate all of the people who are constantly flying around the world in their private jets, and cruising with their massive motorcades, and living in their enormous, energy-hoarding mansions, etc. If there’s a problem here, THEY ARE THAT PROBLEM…
But no— as usual, those people (the ones who are UNDENIABLY leaving an insanely disproportionate “carbon footprint”) will continue doing EXACTLY what they’ve always done, as they will keep doing things like attending “climate change” meetings around the world in their private jets and massive yachts, and building bigger and bigger mansions with zero regard for how their actions affect anything, while continuing to harass poor people across the Western world about how they’re causing “climate change,” and telling them they’re going to have to sacrifice the one vacation per year that they take, or quit eating meat, or whatever, for the sake of the climate. And not only will they NEVER subject themselves to what they’re trying to subject EVERYONE ELSE to, they’ll also apparently never even make a feeble attempt to force China— BY FAR the world’s biggest polluter— to comply with what they’re attempting to force on the West.
I don’t know how much of an impact it would actually have on the climate if those “elites” ceased to exist, nor do I care. However, I do care about the effects those people are having on numerous other issues, and I can confidently say that if they suddenly dropped dead, the entire planet would be INFINITELY better off… PERIOD.

So ridiculous. An electric vehicle puts over twice as much co2 in the atmosphere to do the same work as a gasoline or diesel fueled equivalent vehicle. That's the truth, but most folks don't really understand it because they think electricity comes out of the wall.
