At the rate AI is going it's going to solve 5 existential problems to humanity well before it starts to pose one of its own
Do you have a list of possible companies doing ai for climate change?
is she writing backward from her perspective? Wow!
maybe AI also contributes to climate change by its digital footprint? LOL
Wow this sounds so inspiring and helpful! Thank you for doing what you do and sharing it with us ❤
I like your videos
Actually we need sustainable AI then we can use that AI in sustainability
🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation:
00:26 🌍 The video focuses on how AI can help solve climate change, specifically through the development of new materials. This is termed as the "chemistry edition."
00:56 🌡️ Climate change is leading to a 1.5°C increase in global temperature by 2040, causing more extreme weather events like hurricanes and floods.
01:56 🧪 The core issue of climate change is a chemistry problem, specifically the rise in greenhouse gases. The focus is on mitigation through new materials and chemistries.
02:25 🌿 Low carbon technologies include green chemistry, energy-efficient designs, energy storage like batteries, and carbon capture, utilization, and storage technologies.
02:58 🧽 Carbon capture technologies act like sponges to separate CO2 and either convert it into useful products or store it underground.
03:28 ⚖️ Challenges in current technologies include performance, toxicity, stability, and cost. These can be addressed by designing new materials and processes.
05:05 🧬 The complexity of experiments needed to develop new materials is overwhelming, making AI a crucial tool for speeding up the process.
06:18 📚 AI can assist in hypothesis generation by ingesting and linking thousands of scientific articles, thus expanding the scope of materials considered for solutions.
08:02 🎯 Generative modeling and machine learning can predict new materials and chemistries that meet specific performance requirements.
09:20 🖥️ AI-enhanced simulation can predict material performance under various conditions, increasing efficiency and reducing costs.
10:32 🤖 AI-enhanced synthesis and automated labs can speed up the material creation process, making it more efficient and cost-effective.
11:05 🔄 The AI-enhanced scientific method is expected to significantly accelerate discovery and have a substantial impact on addressing climate change through new materials.
Made with HARPA AI
I believe AI will end up showing the Climate Alarmists are COMPLETELY wrong. Definitely. There is going to be No Question that either Climate Change is completely Natural or that Anthropogenic Climate Change is so small that it can't be accurately measured. It may be WatsonX that does or confirms it.
Great presentation and content. But I wonder – is she writing right to left (like Arabic) on her end so that it looks left to right for viewers like us? Or is it impact of AI.
I am sure it was a great video.. However I had to stop it because of the sound which marker makes .Can you please try not to apply too much pressure while writing on the board. Unfortunately it can be annoying for some people. Thanks!
Can AI prove global warming from humans is real ?
Wonderfully fancy AI tailored to play with your pet projects. However, an AI’s solution to rapidly eliminate climate change defined by regressives as having a human-only cause given the most dominant rhetoric on electronic media the AI would be trained on, could be to detonate numerous EMP in the ionosphere all around the World, quickly throwing the World back to the Stone Age as ready fuel sources are consumed without replacement, killing off billions of people due to the resulting dehydration and starvation with dwindling means to obtain potable water, mass-produce food, and distribute those precious resources. There would certainly be a bump in CO2 in the world as people desperately turn to wood and other fuels, but those sources would quickly be consumed without equivalent rate of replacement. Assuming the couple hundred million people around the World with the knowledge and ability to move around to gather resources that would remain after the great-dying are able to stay away from the large population-dense areas that would be corrupted by intense biohazards, they might be able to survive as the ecosystem heals itself over the next couple of centuries. Climate change solved in less than a decade, assuming only a human cause. Humanity’s future with that scenario, less than stellar.
AI can't help climate change, only human can help climate change by using AI 😂
This is great. The only problem with this is you’re not going to get global cooperation.
If ai could change the orbits of all of the planets and stars of our universe, it would have done away with us centuries ago!
very good
Brilliant presentation. I am getting lots of innovative ideas
This is a great video. There should be another video on how to programme with artificial intelligence
What happens if AI says Climate Change is not a problem? Would they ignore AI?
I say again,…what if AI says, "yeah that 1.5 degree rise in temperature may actually be good for humans and life in general so no need to worry about it" do you think they would relax and stop the massive funding and scare campaigns? Nope. They would say AI is wrong and do their own models and continue the funding. Am I right or wrong on that?
Your talk was excellent. Don't you think it would be better to use the natural technology of billions of years of experience, which is reforestation with plants, using AI to define the quantity and type of plant to reforest in a given area, instead of having to create and test something new to see if it will really work? I raise this issue because it is urgent to find a turning point for the positivity of human action in this climate issue.
