Good to set a target so far in the future that few of us will be alive to see if it was met and if it had the impact Modi thinks it will.
The world will only take you seriously if you set yourself quantifiable KPIs and goals to fight climate change. This is the first step before anything else and lots of countries haven't done that. Atleast India has set their targets. Don't belittle those targets. Give them the opportunity to try to reach them.and assess their performance every 5 years
