Removing carbon from the atmosphere is not easy, relying on large-scale tree planting as well as new technologies that ‘suck’ greenhouse gases from the air. While these methods need to be employed as quickly as possible, they will have a minimal effect unless we dramatically reduce our emissions in the first place. This will involve Government and businesses driving the bold structural change demanded by the public. Meanwhile, individuals can make a difference by limiting their carbon footprint as much as possible.

Those that have noticed that the carbon dioxide concentration in earths atmosphere is 0.04% compared to its closest neighbouring planets of Venus & Mars that have over 90% in their atmospheres will have little difficulty in deducing that this is due to photosynthesis on earth. Photosynthesis is the climate controlling force on earth and has been so for the last 3 billion years. Photosynthesis counteracts the greenhouse effect of carbon dioxide to balance the climate in favour of the life forms we know today.
Therefore it stands to reason that to maintain this life-friendly climate, photosynthesis is to be strengthened, not weakened. On land, forest canopies average 98% photosynthesis capability whereas ploughed fields of grains have less than 50% photosynthesis capability. Thus it is the substitution of grains in ploughed fields for trees that is weakening plants ability to control the planet’s climate. Worse still, carbon dioxide that promotes plant growth is being constrained in the public forum. Is this not folly?
The solution has been obvious for some time – reduce grain for food, & increase trees for food. We need more trees rather than fields of grain and we need to strengthen the tree growth by providing them with carbon dioxide, water & the nutrient-laden soil.
Fossil fuels have been a blessing in almost every way but for the tragedy of the commons. The taste for bread & patisserie has encouraged farmers to deforest our land, laying the top soil bare for erosion & desertification. We need to change our food intake to strengthen nature in our favour.

CO2 isn't only absorbed through carbon capture though. What about plants and trees?

Netzero-is a scheme to tax everything that humans do. It means to have Netzero emissions, which means you can’t emit any carbon dioxide. Hence you can't drive, you can’t fly a plane, you can’t farm, you can’t heat your home in the winter or AC cool your home in the summer. It is a scheme using the fraud of climate change, the environmental crisis, to push for Netzero in order to save the planet. In reality this is the excuse to gain total control over human reproduction and human behavior. Carbon net zero affects all industry, energy, transport, agriculture, military and political aspects. If you look on "Annual carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions worldwide from 1940 to 2023" you will see that apart from a little dip for Covid it only goes up. The reason I think the policy is futile is a) very expensive b) any reduction by the West will be more than compensated by the developing world c) in a world of political competition destroying your own industry is dangerous.
