COP26 is ongoing in Glasgow. This is the 26th Conference of parties to the UNFCCC. This event is getting worldwide attraction because countries are pledging to attain net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. The NDC to the Paris Climate Agreement 2015 is being revised in COP26. This video explains the formation of UNFCCC during the 1992 Rio Earth Summit, the Kyoto Protocol, the Paris Climate Agreement, the concept of the nationally determined contribution, India’s NDCs, India’s commitment for net zero emission by 2070, and the Panchamrita strategy proposed by PM Modi during COP26.
