  1. There are NO stories about the benefits of temperature increase………none whatsoever. BUT…..there must be places benefiting from warming, countries like canada and russia will have huge amounts of farm land open up because of warming, yet…….we hear nothing about it.

if the west is in a 1200 year drought, what happened 1200 years ago??

"sea level rise" will primarily affect the rich who took away all our beautiful coast lines and made it all private with their mega mansions, let them fall into the sea, who cares. Almost the entire US shoreline is private property, it's absurd, should never have been allowed to happen.

  2. Decades ago, I mentioned the rational of tipping points..!

I went further to explain that each points that tips will increase the mathematical 'Exponential" factor over each Climate Change cycle..!

ALL that led me to predict and coin the phrase that is unfortunately proving to be correct ie
" BY 2030, the planet will reach the POINT OF NO RETURN "…!

The politicians and scientific communities did NOT fully appreciate the full warning of that statement..!

There was an essential TIPPING POINT that the scientist have again over-looked..!
I would categorised that as the cornerstone of all tipping points ie 'THE DESALINATION OF SEA WATER"..!

As fresh water enters the sea, it reduces the saltiness of the sea water.., which in turn will cause an increase in the evaporation rates..!
The rain clouds will get heavier faster and more rain will fall into the sea than on land & of course, the costal areas …!

The interiors will receive less rain and the temperature at the Inlands will rise..!
Its a vicious cycle that will increase the Climate Change exponential rate much higher & faster with the passing of time…!!!

WHAT HAVE WE DONE TO OUR BEAUTIFUL HOME/PLANET…??? 🤔 😭😭

  3. Climate change is not real, it’s political, just an excuse to tax us for the air we breath. The Michael Mann 1998 hockey stick data underpinning the whole propaganda program has never been released for peer review (after 24 years and one very expensive court case won by Dr Tim Ball) and now the whole project (headed by organisations working for the UN) is costing tax payers trillions of dollars without there ever being any chance of a diligent examination of the outcome of such spending. The climate change hoax needs to be condemned whenever and wherever it raises its ugly blood-sucking, barmy, uncorroborated voice.

The carbon tax ball-and-chain idea and the 2 year pandemic economic slump combined with the other poor decisions made by western leaders will only hasten the west’s demise and welcome in the rising Asian hegemony which will thankfully once again usher in a new age of reason, true science and game-changing technology to the advantage of humanity.

Note that Chinese manufacturers continued trading uninterrupted throughout the pandemic. All online orders were completed without delays. The quality of the Chinese goods equaled or exceeded the quality those of the west. Chinese coal, gas and nuclear power stations continued to grow over the years of the pandemic to meet the needs of their manufacturing sector, while the west power stations showed little or no expansion, with their 10 year plans stagnant or shattered, their refineries closing down and their markets serving only to distribute mainly Asian goods. That is the measure of the economic status of the major western powers and that is all down to crazy greed and infighting in western political arenas. One cannot help draw parallels between the Western demise and the Roman demise as both were self inflicted.

  4. there was an ice age LONG before people started to use fossil fuels. where did it go? could climate change been going on for a LONG time? thousands of years? if so, seems to have little to do with fossil fuels

  5. Hurricanes are less frequent and less violent than ever before. Global warming has nothing to do with them. The increase in CO2 has nothing to do with it. These expert professors are paid for what they say.

  6. Industrialization, mass agriculture, electricity and heat production account for an estimated 70% of global greenhouse gas emissions according to the US EPA. That sure puts we humans in a precarious spot in trying to deal with these when it comes to reducing our emissions, as they are so tied to our existence. In my opinion, no matter how much we try to bandaid greenhouse gas emissions from these sources, our level of need/demand for them will never be sustainable for the planet to thrive, especially in the face of growing world population.

  7. 8 000 000 000 people living on this planet, growing towards 10 000 000 000 people in the future! Just consider how much of the World's forests, including the Amazon will be cleared away to feed all of those 10 billion hungry people, at least three times a day!

  8. If it's hotter now than it was back in the thirties and seventies, why does NASA feel it necessary to corrupt and alter data, that showed otherwise ?
They have been caught three times, to date. Yes, a quick youtube search confirms what they've been up to.

  9. We had the worst forest fires and extreme weather during the and 30s 40s and 50s. Thats why they rarely use data from back then. It doesn't work wirh their narrative. Lol idiots. If we get our Co2 to low our plants and trees will not grow. My uncle worked for the government in agriculture. They would pump Co2 into plants and they would explode in growth. I think someone is being dishonest?

  10. Job 38 ; 22–23
Have you entered the treasury of snow, or have you seen the treasury of hail,. 23 which I have reserved for the time of trouble for the day of battle and war ?
    Daniel " climate change"

  11. WHEN are we moving beyond man-spaining basic terms and into actual details? 'Could' spiral out of control? BBC Earth is one source of information which ought to have moved beyond hyperbole 20 years ago. Keeping information at Climate 101 only keeps everyone ignorant and in a state of limbo. We need insight and resources to prepare for heat waves, food and water scarcity, living without electricity and awareness of neoliberalism's affect on democracy, religion and self-interest. Bread or circus?

  12. There is no climate crisis. It was warmer in the recent and distant past. It warmed faster in the past. The warming started before the burning of fossil fuel. The models cannot mimic past climates. It has been admitted that the models run "hot".

  13. The earth is five and a half billion years old and in all that time there has always been climate change we have had several major ice ages one that lasted 150 million years. Man has been on this planet about 200 thousand years. And all of a sudden in 200 years we have sent the climate haywire. Get real. The major cause of climate change is the sun. but governments can't put a green tax on it. So we have to pay more for just about everything

  14. There are 8 billion humans on this planet. Google how long it would take to count to just 1 billion, never mind 8 billion! Consider the fundamental reality of 8 billion humans endlessly consuming the limited resources of this Earth, with so many of our daily and nightly activities being fuelled by the use of various fossil fuels. Just about every human on this planet contributes to the catastrophic climate changes taking place now because we simply cannot stop our relentless consumption of whatever we are consuming, in one way or another. Humans are literally just like a vast, unstoppable swarm of locusts devouring everything around them!
We just cannot stop ourselves. We are all now a part of this consuming culture, and way of life, whose only purpose now is to consume! Consuming has become an end in itself! Enter any product search and consider the huge numbers of products that appear, and this is not even the tiniest atom on the tip of the gigantic iceberg of human consumption taking place all around the world! Once, thousands of years ago, our ancestors were a part of this Earth. Now we are all of us living apart from Mother Earth!

  15. we all fell into this destructive trap. You bought the TV, the phone the car travel on airliners and all the millions of products we use… Are you going to give them up? And then think is everyone going to give them up? No then prepare to kill the planet and everything on it. If you're young you will witness it. You will witness war for food. You will see your grocery stores empty. You will see the weather basically trying to kill everyone earthquakes volcanoes everything's going to go extreme and you will witness it. So that's what you get for participating in the big greed consumerism experiment. We killed everyone

  16. Even if there is radical climate change (and that is a very, very big 'if') with the manifestation of numerous tipping points (including permafrost thaw, ocean hydrates dissociation, Arctic sea ice loss, rainforest dieback, polar ice sheet loss, AMOC slowdown, and Indian monsoon variability) the disruption to economic growth and well-being will be minimal. The world's economy will continue to grow making everyone much richer. By 2050 world mean consumption per capita should be $29,100 with tipping points or $29,300 without tipping points – barely noticeable. Apart from it being approximately double what it is now. By 2100 world mean consumption per capita should $71,000 with or without tipping points (Dietz etc al, 2021).

This is the most fortunate time to be alive in the whole of history.

  17. Just think about how long it took for the ice to build up at the poles. Season after season snow packed on top of itself to form all the ice on the permafrost there. It must’ve taken hundreds of thousands of years if not millions, and it’s melting in tens of years.

  18. Never say there is nothing any one of us can do to reverse this process. Most important thing is to identify politicians who recognize and accept that climate change is happening. for them and then continue to press them to make changes for us. If you vote for politicians who deny climate change, you are the problem (your grandchildren will hate you for your failure to address this). Stop using plastic bags. Plant more plants, not just trees. Stop fertilizing grass lawns. Throw off old stereotypes (there are alternatives to grass lawns!). There are lots of plants that look better than turfgrass. Buy an electric car. Install solar panels. If we each don’t do , we are part of the problem (maybe not for ourselves but definitely for our grandchildren and great-grandchildren).
