Sky News host Chris Kenny says the global warming “blame game” is on again, after parts of Queensland and New South Wales were ravaged by floods.
“Every time there’s a natural disaster now, the climate change card is played,” Mr Kenny said.
Mr Kenny said when it comes to Brisbane, the last couple of damaging floods “pale into insignificance” compared to the “frequency and depth of flooding in the late 19th century”.
“And likewise the Hawkesbury River at Windsor, north-west of Sydney, two years of serious flooding in a row now – again that’s terrible – but again, the late 19th century is when the flooding really peaked in that area.”
Mr Kenny says this proves the claims “things are getting demonstrably worse now already” are “just not accurate”.

it makes me wonder if the government isnt purposely neglecting its duty to cause these things to happen … like not clearing bushfire prone land and leaving the fuel on the ground to build up to huge proportions to increase the chance of massive fires and not doing any of the recommendations from the previous floods in SE queensland and northern NSW when there was an investigation …. why werent the lismore rivers dredged like previous years … why were levies not increased after the last 2 floods … as advised … why are we sooo reluctant to build dams to mitigate flooding in flood areas … not everywhere but 2 more dams in them 2 areas would make a huge difference … but no instead they let the greens and labor and the foolish uninformed activists to scare you or even worse you pretend they are the reason when its about a different agenda …??

All of human produced CO2 in the atmosphere makes only roughly 2.4% of all CO2 . ~95% of all greenhouse gases are water vapors. Australias is at best responsible for ~1.3% off all human CO2 emissions ….. Hence, if all Aussies commit suicide tomorrow – (which I could understand very well – given the authoritarian morons governing Australia) – nothing, absolutely NOTHING will change in regards to human caused climate change ! Fact is …. the red / green climate mafia anywhere on this planet does not care about the climate, the issue is a massive political power and of course money grab !
This is typical, in lieu of predictions they take credit for something that already happened, science is about facts and truth. The interpretation of facts is often debated to reach well-thought-out conclusion. Research findings must go through a peer review process before being recognized as scientific. I didn't recall seeing any peer review data to back up the claims about climate change, most likely it doesn't exist.
They changed the name from global warming to climate change when it didn't get warmer!

Do you even realize how many decades it will take us to adjust our infrastructure to adapt to the coming Triassic Epoch?? The Pleistocene Epoch ended 13000 years ago which means we don't have our "normal" Minor Ice Age Cycles anymore.. We are heading toward another Triassic Epoch which will lead to a Pole Reversal & MAJOR Ice Age Cycle… While we are already entering the Triassic Epoch that should have taken another ~13000 years sped up by the Human Impact on Climate Change called Global Warming and is now approaching in the coming Century, if not Decades…. So while you may not think it serious, I assure you your children will FIND it serious….

climate change is a real phenomenon, caused by human carelessness & ignorance. it exhibits itself with forest fires burning in winter, drought, famine, lower crop yields. with all the fossil fuels being combusted, that's a lot of CO2, CO. and other pollutants. the CO2 can be photosynthesized into oxygen (via trees & greenery; but only if they're present), which combines with hydrogen in the upper atmosphere, to form water again
people assume water evaporates from the ocean, and rains downward….! that's not how it works.
you need differing temperate layers of air – usually a warm-water-laden air-front colliding with a cooler air-front to enact condensation (rainfall). that cooler air-front has to be created from the greenery and trees; the water that forms in the thermosphere, via the migration of oxygen upwards to combine with hydrogen. and then becoming cold water moisture in air.
if you don't have greenery to cause the condensation process, you get desert – even if you're next to the ocean…! – hopefully, somebody in government learned something new, via youtube, today; as in why there exists desert right next to an ocean body-of-water!
Just the fact that people think the average actually affects the daily measures is freaking frightening. In other words: the average affects the daily measures. It is the other way around: the daily measures affect the long term average, this is why it is an average.

I worked for BOM collecting weather data for many years. During my time, I experienced the dilution of weather data, as BOM moved from a manual system to an automated mode. The thrust of this new transition was aimed at reducing costs. The only problem here is that automation systems don't work 24/7. Occasionally, they break down. Valuable data is lost when the're not online. No more can BOM say that Timbucktu recorded is wettest January day on record!!
