This government wants to reduce this 0.000012% to 0.00000000000%.
Even China's 30% contribution is only 0.00036% of the gases that make up the atmosphere which is why they have decided it is safe enough to continue to use fossil fuels and make and export all the goods we can no longer produce due to sky high fuel prices.
Where would we be if it wasn't for China and other countries like them that are expanding their fossil fuel capacity as fast as they can whilst countries like Scotland celebrate blowing their fossil fuel power stations up.
We aren't actually reducing our carbon footprint nearly as much as our virtue-signalling government would have you believe, just displacing it to other countries.
Germany (and Belgium) have recently announced the closure of their last few nuclear power stations.
Germany is now dependant on Russia for 70% of its energy. It's not only gas (around 40%) but it also imports coal and oil from Russia which is why the total amount is so high.
In the UK we need both energy and food security along with other essentials.
You can't provide this if you are destabilising your energy network and introducing unaffordability with increasing reliance on subsidised unreliable renewables.

Do you know this facts:North Sea Gas and Oil was sold off to Tailwind Mercuria, overseas traders. Why our energy prices are going up. Miss managed by Kwasi Kwarteng, as the same person Sold Man United to the Saudi's also P & O Ferries sold to Dubai profits going overseas. EDF and China controlling our energy. You don't give this a thought, Water Companies, all run by shairholders and owned by global Corparations. They can starve people from water supplies. Government paying farmers to place Solare Panels on there fields, and not growing Crops. Boris Johnson needs to go and his cabinet.

Jarrett's a waste of time they have supposedly spent millions on railway Street, military road and the water front and it is still a dump the pavements have had marks on them caused by the contractors ever since they were laid, it looks crap, the amount that was spent it should look like a million dollars, but it does not, yet they spent £34 million on buying a run down shopping centre that nobody else wanted, the money would have been better spent on doing up the high street and getting rid of the rif raff that hang out in it and give a business relief rate to entice new businesses to the area, they have buried their head in the sand for far too long, once you could shop there and buy anything you needed. They do nothing but waste the money given to them.,it is difficult to find one project in recent years that they have finished from the flood defences along the river which will do nothing to stop the flooding, to the area in between the waterfront bus station and the pentagon.
Yet they have the audacity to post warnings about how it’s illegal to use non rental e scooters on their Facebook citing health and safety, hence why the rental units are allowed, going as far as to threaten point on your licence, fines and impounding your property 😂
While not Medway councils fault I also find it laughable that our government cares so much about charging us to look after the environment yet employs some of the harshest restrictions on e-bikes in the whole of Europe to the point they are useless toys at best. Utter joke, get these crooks out of power ASAP!
