
Most countries including India pledged to be carbon neutral by 2050. Global efforts are underway to cap the production of materials which is expected to be ratified at the 2024 United Nations meeting. Such policy measures along with ubiquitous embracement of sustainability by companies as well as consumers, and finance, business, and scientific innovations will accelerate the transition from the current linear economy to a circular economy. This transition will impact and occur in all spheres of human activity.
