The net positive when it comes to the lives that have been lost due to heat and cold doesn't help those who live in an area that's a hot-spot for heating up. In addition, it surprises me that the number of cold deaths is higher than the heat deaths. I would have expected the opposite. You can't defend yourself against the heat, but you can defend yourself against the cold. In July, over 600 people have died from the heat in the EU in one week.
Biden's, or rather AOC's 'green new deal' (I read that it's her plan) won't change anything with regard to global warming, but it's hurting the American economy and the American people.
@Andrew Klavan Can you post a link to the document you were quoting please? Those numbers are very very clear evidence. In the 1880s the River Thames froze over during the winter in London, and they held ice fairs – on the frozen over river, which lasted for weeks! So it’s all warming from that very real weather emergency – which had a huge capacity to kill people, and made it impossible to grow anything!!

Well, it's warm, it's summer! There is a drought here in CT. We had those before. It was a hot one and a drought in 1991. I fished the Beaverkill the last week of April that year and the Caddis hatches were heavy and early. I had a great week 100 fish days. Then it got hot and no rain and some of the trout died. Yet here we are in 2022 and the Beaverkill fishes as well as ever. The climate is always in flux, the weather is will the weather, the more you think you know the less you really know. We live a much healthier and cleaner life than we did in 1880. You can thank oil for that. Oh and that other thing oil saved the whales in a more profound way that Greenpeace never could. The Environmental movement is where all the communists went. Not that the communist governments made messes they did in spades and mass graves too. Just one more thing when I was a kid, we had snowbound theater, and the likes of Dracula and the other horror movies of the era were a staple, in glorious black and white. It's been a long time, I really need to revisit those finely acted and written movies. To this day I have been a fan of Maria Alekseyevna Ouspenskaya. The weather will, my guess it's going to get cold in November just in time for rifle deer season!

You can do organic farming…on a small, community scale. Using chem fertilizer for a non gmo production isn't organic. Manure, mulch, care, but as I said it only works small scale and takes tremendous time and effort.
