UK rethinking net zero but Australia ‘can only manage more restrictions’ on coal, gas

Sky News host Peta Credlin says the United Kingdom is “talking about a rethink on net zero” and Australia should follow suit.
“While all we can manage is more restrictions on vital industries like coal and gas,” she said.
Ms Credlin said the Albanese government has now made the emissions target into law, 60 per cent of coal fired power supply would have to close – and there is nothing to replace it.

The climate change crowd are like the people who consult tea leaves for telling the future. The people reading the tea leaves believe it, everyone else is already thinking, I don't want to be seen with these guys.
Climate change is a make believe world – and the people making all sorts of unqualified statements – are not scientists. They are bureaucrats or Public Servants or politicians. Each one looking at the other one, just blindly following.
And you know the type. You can tell them any story and they believe it.
The problem with climate change it has become, a joke. It's a three ring circus. It's Politicians – their Bureaucracy – and the left wing media. And you wonder who is the dumbest one of them all.
The media are saying the weather today regardless of whether it's hot – cold – raining – snowing is all caused by climate change.
And this is like betting on a one horse race.
Yes. climate change is real, climate changes all the time. go back and look at the earth's weather patterns – ice ages back as far as you care to go, hundreds of millions of years back in time. And it's been hotter then now.
However things like when trees came along – is also left out – which greatly altered the climate.
The earth's climate is a complex set of systems. Ocean currents – rainfall – winter & summer.
The sun is our source of heat. Look now the southern hemisphere moves away from the sun only slightly and we get snow and winter. Move back and we get summer. That is a very fine balancing point. Mainly controlled by our distance from the sun.
And for sure climate change is real – it's gone on since the beginning of our planet.
And for some people who treat it like witch craft and it's now the new unseen enemy that stalks us. It's like politicians think people are utterly stupid, and our thinking is going backwards in time.
No scientist wants to stand up to up the climate bullies. As they will simply trash their career. The science is out there. The climate is many systems all interconnected. Driven by our sun.
Have a look on the internet for the rainfall in Australia going back over 100 years on rainfall maps. You will see that high rainfall matches – solar maximum events. Or high sun spot activity. High sunspot activity – drives our ionosphere – drives storms. sun spots also heat our oceans – and higher evaporation means more rain.
Low sunspot activity – low rainfall. Those solar events are 11.9 years each cycle, called solar minimum / solar maximum.
