  1. Renewable energy,, is never enough to supply the population. We will have to go to nuclear. Thorium liquid salt reactors, are the way forward. Can be made quite small, can be bolted together, for larger cities. What are your thoughts on this matter.

  2. They ought to set the windmills up in Parliament House Canberra! Lots of excess hot air there! I can't wait to see Albo get his solar panel on his very own electric car, so that it can charge up overnight as he says! God almighty!! I don't know if they're just bunging it on, or if they're genuinely stupid!

  3. In the UK people are fuming that there power bills are going to be 5 thousand pounds a year ! that is roughly $10,ooo dollars in our money ?.
They recon that there will be massive protests if this happens as there are going to be in France etc.
Kenny didn't factor in the cost of replacing the older wind turbines and solar panels that will be rooted before 2050 .
This lunacy needs to be stopped ! and quick ! this is the only emergency that we are facing

  4. Ignoring global warming will result in an economic and environmental train-wreck.
The Earth's ice is melting very rapidly, there is a climate crisis.
    * The Arctic's summer sea ice declined by an alarming 75% from 17,000 km3 in Sep 1979 to only 4,000 km3 in Sep 2020.
    * The Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment (GRACE) satellites and GRACE Follow-On found that between 2002 and 2020, Antarctica shed approximately 151 gigatons (151 km3) of ice per year, causing global sea level to rise by 0.4 millimeters per year; and Greenland shed approximately 277 gigatons of ice per year, causing global sea level to rise by 0.8 millimeters per year." grace jpl nasa gov

  5. What braindead people these labour and greens are, wind farms are made from FRP (plastic) which is derived from oil, fossil fuel, gess what happens during their manufacture DUUUR!! It's time you fools talked to some real scientists like Dr. Patrick Moore and Professor Freeman Dyson, Ho, you don't know who they are, then you have not done your research, what bunch of plonkers you are.

  6. making power with wind turbines in the united states, in 2015 was 49 cents a kilo. one gas turbine can produce more power for $244 dollars than the whole wind farm field from south of Post Texas to Abilene Texas which is about 80 miles long and several miles wide. and if they don't have grid power, they can't make power, nor can they be started. i was paying ..08 cents a kilowatt in 2015 for grid power

  7. Everybody conveniently forgets that in a few short years we are going to have to replace all this and then it becomes an even more expensive exercise because new growth has to be coupled with ongoing replacement. That's why these things are renewable, you completely renew them every 20 years and fund the Chinese Communist Party at the same time. Like you said Chris, it's all win….

  8. Costs down, coal gas shut down, new jobs, limitless power!!!! All lies and gas not been replicated in true industrial power countries & continents. Let's face it, Australia is an 1800s primary economy. We have not had a secondary economy since the 1990s

  9. Switzerland and German went court to stop these turbines and I think it still hasn't be settled .they say it's too hilly . Do as I say not as I do .they are aeroplane perpetrators

  10. Australia could be fully powered by 30 x 1,100 MW nuclear reactors at approx $7.5 billion each. That would cost $225 billion, use a comparatively minuscule amount of land, and produce reliable base load power 24/7 365 days a year. WAKE UP AUSTRALIA!!!

  11. Well we have enough land in the desert for 2.5 million wind turbines and ~3 billion solar panels provided the sun shines and the wind blows and the Li Batteries don't self detonate. Just imagine the pay off to the distributors and the land owners and the incessant apologies and recognitions they could generate too.
