  1. Hi all. I'm Shane, one of the Co-Founders of CABN Co. Love your content Kerry! Appreciate everyone's interest! We've started construction on building the Sonder unit and will complete construction this Fall. I'll be taking a look at the comments for feedback so feel free to let know your thoughts below!

  2. Love the entire concept re sustainability and low impact on the environment, and the design is very good looking. I love the fact the deck is included and the home structure has overhangs to protect from the elements. Though I’m a senior, I don’t currently have a problem with stairs, so I’m ambivalent about the bedroom(s) on the “first” floor. I agree with Kerry about really needing to set foot in one. And, Kerry, the people who have nothing better to do than make fun of your hair must be losing theirs. It looks healthy and thick and the style suits you. AND I’m glad you’re able to joke about their nonsense!

  3. I really like this Kerry. I have seen others with an outside that I like better but this is wow. This could easily go in the NW and Eastern Washington. I am so grateful for you for doing this and enlightening us with this technology. I am wondering Kerry, since this is fairly new technology, how long are these prefabs supposed to last?

  4. Enjoying the channel and your delivery method is refreshing…just wanted to pull you up on the comment about big brain thinking when it comes to this companies approach to site orientation.
If anything positioning a structure to maximise solar gains , prevailing weather , roof pitch , solar panel placement et al. Is in my opinion extremely rudimentary first principle approaches. If any company does not follow this approach from the get go then go elsewhere

  5. Very interested, I have many questions. Will you have a one floor/one bedroom model.
Can you ship to Florida? Do we need to arrange for our own contractor to put up the home or will you have contractors lined up? What about determining if the home is suitable to the site, permits, plumbing and electricity hookups, etc? All of this would need to be factored in to the cost, along with the initial investment of the manufactured home. Shipping cost? Are the homes up to code for hurricanes?

  6. Too pricey! I don’t know what they think “affordable” means. 😮 I finally found a cooler design (Scandinavian style) with more sq. footage and better features for a lot less than this one. And it’s all on one floor which is what I need.

  7. These are extremely expensive for pre-fabs and do not include cabinets, sinks, fixtures etc. Download their PDF and read the fine print. Not affordable at all. Their listed price is in CAD $ and when questioned if their USD $ price was a typo, because there is no difference, it was not. The dollar is stronger, yet the cost is the same one CAD.

  8. Another grrreat video thank you. In 2024 I am looking at their website.
They do have larger models. A 3br 2b model, 1120sf, is priced at $459k
canadian, and the off grid same w/solar is $509k canadian. I am not sure if I
would label this as affordable, but they sure look great on 2 floors.
