All a big con !!!!!. If we are worried about the environment let's start with the real stuff like filthy rivers while fat cats take their millions for doing nothing. Everything they privatised has been a big con as well. It didn't bring the prices down .The companies formed cartels and everything has gone up .

Take just 3 countries, India, America and China.
If the whole of the UK went net zero tomorrow, zero C02,, compared to the emissions of only those 3 countries C02 emissions, it would save around 0.00001%, in mathematical and science terms its nothing.
Nobody is going to follow our example, its not the 1800's we can't make countries follow our example..
Apart from that, its far too expensive for the country and most of its people, for … nothing.

The true cost of green energy is frightening. With no grants the true cost would triple or worse. The maintenance costs are horrendous. Look at the abandoned wind farms in the usa. When the grants stopped so did the generators. While other countrys still pollute we tie our hands behind our backs.
May and johnson have so much to answer for, there is now despair in our country .

EDF, the nationalised French energy company supplies about 20% of the UK energy market and is increasing its UK prices to £3549 PA in line with the price cap. But French energy prices are only increasing by 4%. Are the British consumers subsidising the French consumers?
If the lights go out then so will the "CONservative" government at the next general election it is that simple.
We need to insist our MPs pay their own electric bills not put them on Expenses and MP need to live in the area where they stand for elections not shoed in and given cash to buy a second home
