  1. My son and daughter in law just bought a house in MI, moving there in October which seems brave. LOL but that could be a good thing when the you know what hits the fan i'll have a place to head out to.

  2. The risks associated with choosing to live on the ring of fire outweighs the potential benefits of trying to hide away from climate change. The joke is on …… who exactly?

  3. Shhhhh don’t point out how great the Great Lakes region is. I’m trying to move back to my home state of Michigan from the Miseryβ€”oh sorry, Missouri… and I don’t need a ton of people to learn how incredible it is and move there and drive up end cost of living and make it impossible for me to move back near family.

  4. Just another bunch of religious fanatics, preaching about the Climate Cult. This is the same rubbish they've been harping on about for forty odd years and nothing has changed that wasn't going to anyway.

  5. Yeah New Zealand’s not really that keen on you climate refugees already. Take your money and over populated industrial problems to Greenland. We don’t want your politics either.

  6. Good video, thank you for the food for thought. I hadn’t thought about the simple details like can crop be grown. I just thought of a good location for being away from rising sea level

  7. Maybe when Americans go to Iceland they SHOULD clean up the thousands of barrels of deisel fuel and nuclear waste they left under the ice at CAMP CENTURY… how about removing the nuclear waste from the RUNIT DOME instead of RUIN IT DOME… in the Marshall islands, rising sea levels are already entering and leaching unexploded plutonium that American military were exposed to cleaning it up and hiding in an UNSEALED HOLE and covering in concrete slabs ..
They put it in one of the huge craters thier tests~ the equivalent of both Hiroshima AND Nagasaki weapons for TWELVE YEARS, EVERY DAY……
COME ON, USA, CLEAN UP YOUR HAZARDOUS WASTE!!!
    NUCLEAR FREE NEW ZEALAND!!!!😊

  8. The further away from the equator the better. That could be south as well as north. Uruguay has a similar latitude as New Zealand, it's also developed, has a stable economy and is relatively safe therefore, Uruguay maybe the best kept secret in South America.

  9. Pretty handwaving information. Have you been to Ice land how much is it able to support humans. Not a lot. It’s not feeling natural it feels roasting. We’re gonna have no choice but to move if we want to go outside for half the year.

  10. My own personal hypothesis about climate change is that it will end up self regulating.
As the planet heats up, the crust will soften slightly, allowing more volcanoes to trigger, more earthquake to occur. Which causes more pressure in the volcanoes, triggering further eruptions. And that blanket of ash covering most of the world will block the heat from the sun, cooling the planet again, much like many other massive eruptions in history.
I mean, we might not survive, but…
And, no. I'm just an armchair scientist, not a real one. So I acknowledge that I might just be full of ****.

  11. If everyone heads to lifeboat countries they won't be lifeboat countries for very long. They will in most cases end up becoming new US military bases, and in a few cases new Chinese military bases. Ordinary people, whether citizens of these countries or not, won't even get a look in.

  12. I moved to the Philippines for climate change. In Baguio City, the climate is cool. If you stay away from the landslide zones and the flood areas, it's like paradise.
