Chad is facing severe climate change disasters. Severe droughts followed by the worst floods in 30 years have led to 2.1 million people being acutely hungry in the country.
According to the United Nations Children Fund, 10% of children under five years of age are affected by severe malnutrition, and one in three will suffer from stunted growth.
