Insurance Council of Australia CEO Andrew Hall says a net zero plan was launched yesterday by the insurance sector as a way to give it “a plan moving forward”.
Mr Hall says one of the reasons for the net zero plan was “there was a change of government and the government now has a net zero target”.

Remember when they kept saying no more rain ever . Now they cry about too much rain . Y’all just like to cry about shit
Meanwhile in Britain, we’re having to burn wood on home fires because we can’t afford heating costs.. All that CO2 🙃
The question is who is the main share holder of this company ?
Bl:ackro:ck which Control almost everything .
This isn't about "net zero" its insurance companies trying to make a buck as usual.
The recently flooded areas of Maribyrnong come to mind but to the detractors, you are welcome to the low lying river & beach frontages.
Insurance has no business messing in politics. Stop!
I thought that the Insurance sector already had a nett zero plan.
They plan to accept zero claims if they can get away with it… isn't that their policy?
Nobody will be able to afford insurance any more. Idiots.
Soon the LNP will have Nett ZERO support…
Obviously they plan to insure absolutely no one net zero is another terminology for FOFF
Nett zero payouts? He does realise we live in a country of floods, droughts, and bushfires?
When no one buys insurance, the insurers will go broke.

Everything operating in lockstep
Take note that with the high cost of insurance it's starting to make more and more sense for high income families to 'self insure'. If you are financially competent, look into how businesses and high wealth individuals can 'self insure'. It has saved my businesses millions over the last three decades.
[BTW, it's not a matter of "Do it yourself" insurance. So don't be silly about it ! ]

Why aren't any of the fortune 500 companies investing in "renewable energy"?
When Australia finishes the green energy superpower crap there won't be enough power to electricute a mouse
Won't be using any insurance company that goes woke
CO2 is plant food ☀️🌧🌱
The banks have been in on it for a long time, so it comes as no surprise that the insurance companies are also – it's an investment opportunity guaranteed by the government, and everyone wants a piece of the action.
They just want to make net zero pay outs.
Nobody is buying his BS. When Insurance companies complain about payouts they should leave the business. But they won’t will they, because it’s a cash cow. Insurance companies look for any excuse to not pay out. FOFF
And putting more and more people into less and less land area is going to achieve what exactly ?
Investing in innovation to protect areas is one thing.
Abandoning land at the whims of corporate cartels,
is somthing entitrely different.
I would suggest creating localised, regionalised insurance services and banning any other insurance companies outside of their area of concern.
If you want a future that is.
It would of course then enable that local/regional insurance service to also invest in local infrastructure and protection works.
Just another loophole to take the little peoples money.
So basically your a c un t
Net Zero is a WEF scam policy – people need to wake up FFS – 1100 scientists have come out and said there is no climate emergency. I am sick of hearing about the net zero scam

What are they going to say now..Sorry that your house is under water but your area is not in a net zero zone sorry we can not help you
Those like myself who are not flood prone are being forced to pay more and more for insurance and it would seem because of area's that are flood prone. We are are long term insurer's of one of the bigger companies and were told that we are insured for flood. I have made many phone call's about this and to be told it is our post code area that is flood prone . We never ever get flooded and they say we are giving that for free . Really an insurance company giving something for free. No one is really interested and say just pay this amount. The insurance council only defends the insurer's and not interested in ordinary people as usual.
