  1. Take the sun away and earth becomes a frozen wasteland, and no burning of fossil fuels would heat it up. So yes its 100% the sun affecting climate – not man made. Thats just a lie to fund the Green carbon economy gravy train.

  2. it’s simple , we are destroying our planets defences against the suns solar activity so more and more radiation is getting through, the sun is the same as it always was, but our planets fields are 20-25% weaker now , i who’d imagine radio and cell (5g) have a great effect on our magnetic field

  3. Solar effect, cosmic rays, cycles, amount of water vapor and other gases, wind see water temperature and current all affects the climate. The universe is ever changing system and more understanding will be needed to explain more precisely the climate change. The climate has always changed and will change, the question is if the life forms are smart enough to adapt to it, rather than trying to airconditioned the universe. The people who believes in that, have the poorest understanding of the climate science.

  4. Long-term climate change (eg Ice Ages) is caused by the Milankovitch Cycles. Short to medium-term climate change is caused by the Sun's cycles. The note in the blue box below the video from the United Nations claiming long-term climate change is due to humans burning fossil fuels is false.

  5. This is an absolutely ridiculous idea. Shame on you CBC. The sun is vital to life on planet earth. How about you discuss the chemicals being sprayed amongst the plethora of other things they’re doing to use climate change as an excuse to push they’re agenda for 15 min cities. Anything being puked out of mainstream media is basically verbal diarrhea with an ulterior motive. Have a listen to Gregg Braden discuss climate change – he’s a scientist 👨‍🔬 that hasn’t compromised his integrity or been brainwashed.

  6. Strongest solar cycle this Millennium ? Ehhh. Thats a bold statement especially as cycle 25 was a very very low cycle making informed folks to think were already into a "Eddie minnimum" which comes around about every 400 hundred years. Ofcorse the important info is left out as usual which is throughout the data of historic large Cmes tree rings show the sun outbursts its largest CMEs when the sun is going thru its 11 to 13ish year pole cycle reversal. So dont be afraid be prepared

  7. This answer is NO. Solar cycles are very short term cycles (11 years) they cannot cause Earth warming that is visible since the end of 19th century. And the PROOF of this is this one: Earth and troposphere (low atmosphere) are warming, but stratosphere is cooling. If the sun was causing our warming the stratosphere would also be warming, while a cooling of the stratosphere is aligned by the greenhouse gas effect.

  8. They are conveniently leaving out the most important detail in determining the impact of the Sun on Earth's atmosphere, that being the change in Earth's proximity to the Sun. Solar activity is less impactful on Earth's atmosphere when the Earth is further from the Sun, this is true of all planets in all solar systems across the entire universe. The entire climate change conversation today is coming from scientists that get their grant funding from corporations, so they're incentivised to do studies that ignore the problem to ensure the negative impact on corporations that grant them funding is minimized.

  9. Thank you for researching this for the peoples easy media watch channels. Yes lur planet has and still is moving its magnetic north for several decades now. But as all ages end at some stage, ai hope this is not ours. I have measured true north for over ten years now and it is moving towards Siberia!

  10. What is said here about solar cycles is misleading. First thing to know is very obvious, the only source of heat for our planet is the Sun. If you sun went dark the earth would be an ice ball. No amount of green house gasses would make a difference, they would freeze too!. Next people think the sun stays in one spot, that is not even close to being true. The sun moves with gravity pull from all the plants. The earth is also in a varying elliptical orbit which is constantly changing.. The earth has title which changes over 41000 years, which has a significant effect on climate, plust the wobble. My point is it is statistically grossly inaccurate to look a climate change from 1830 to 2024 and make any predictions that would make any sense. There have been at least 5 major ice ages in the last 100 million years, but there have been mini ice ages or cold periods here are 3 of then that we know of 1458–1552, 1600–1720, and 1840–1880. You'll note that we can;t blame these on green house gasses!! So what caused them??? Why the sun of course. Yes there were some cold periods cause by volcanic eruptions, but these would have only lasted 2-3 years. In other words CBC's broad cast looks kind of sciency but it is propaganda and full of holes the sun could pass thru.

  11. It is funny the we are see the largest grand maximum in a 100 years and we are seeing global warming at the same time.. Hmmm the inconvenient truth, It is also interesting the 1859 carrington event happened when the earth was warming up form the cold period 1840 to 1880. This is historical facts the climate extremists like to ignore

  12. Did anyone think about gravity. As we orbit the sun and all other planets for that matter we get closer and in turn all temps go up. Even the moon is getting closer and that will drive more weather like hurricanes. our cars and industries are a drop in the bucket. only human hubris makes anyone think we can change the universe or this planet. Look at the past. climate change happened before we even had cars or burned fossil fuel. The earth and the solar system and hell like i said the universe are in control not us. so when you go buy that new ev it wont matter. Think about where that battery goes when you dump the car, but thats another story.

  13. Earth magnetic field is moving and getting to flip and this is weakening the field. This allows a lot more solar energy (heat, ions, protons )to enter our atmosphere. This coupled with more solar flares, cmes ,etc will add alot of heat to earth.

  14. NO, CBS. The sun is NOT responsible for climate change. Industrialization, neverending war and the ungodly amount of fossil fuels consumed by over 8 billion homo sapiens are doing that. It's sickening already. Climate change is not only real, and our fault, it's HERE. NOW.

  15. This is an embarrassment, space weather does not affect climate. Space weather affects weather! Longer term average irradiance changes would be more plausible… there is nothing here!

  16. The variations in the sun's output is not used by UN climate models. But lets not quibble over math.

Baker: My cookies are not cooking like they used to.

    Logic: Let's check the oven.

Climate activist: Must be the ingredients, the chef, or the mixer.

  17. I find it hilarious that people actually dont believe the Sun Controls all weather on Earth.

Blow out the candle of the sun, And Life ends, zero heat.

Turn up the candle? Life ends, Too much Heat.

Assume it is where it is because it IS the balancing beam of climate … Your making assumptions so that the sun IS NOT in the formulae for climate change and thats just not sciencce at all.

  18. People who believe that anthropogenic CO2 is causing climate change, are victims of propaganda. The IPCC and other charlatans have a forty five year record of one hundred percent failed predictions.

  19. The sun is absolutely a major influence on earths climate. Its the star of the show. The earths magnetic field started rapidly weakening once the magnetic poles began rapidly shifting. Circa 1900. The climate wasn't far behind. This has allowed increasingly higher amounts of solar energy and radiations into our atmosphere and to propagate the earth. When our magnetic field is stable, the effects from the sun will also stabilize. I'm afraid it has to get worse before it will get better. The May 2024 solar storms had measurable effects on the earth and were responsible for the streak of wild weather that lasted weeks. The biological effects are also a serious concern. This would be happening if humans never walked the earth.

  20. Sorry but it has a big effect on cliamante. We dont have all the knowledge yet. There are new theories. Lets not waste our childrens money on carbon when history shows we had highet carbon levels in the past.
