India has promised the world that it would go net zero by the year 2070. What this means is by 2070, India would put out no more greenhouse gases than it can absorb back. It cannot be done unless you completely discard the Indian electricity sector, which means no more burning of coal or gas.
India can achieve this target; Watch this video to know more.

Net Zero political soundbite to agitate the sheep is actually a technical impossibility, ask any energy scientist. America would need to build a nuclear power station every other day, or erect 10,000 wind turbines every day. This would have to be done until 2050. By then, electricty demand will have risen.
Serious battery storage would be needed. Experts in the field reckon that this is decades away, and probably not achievable ever. All of this would of course have to be produced using massive amounts of…electricity.
It's a complete clownshow, with many clowns.
