The green energy electricity grid – is like taking a large generator apart. And replacing it with Lego blocks. The green energy electricity grid has yet to be built in Australia. The problem being – it is large and complex. And that means a symphony of a millions of small bits that must work as one. Not a chance.
When you remove a single generator – like coal or gas fired power station. You replace it with a Lego brick kit of millions of solar panels – solar batteries and wind turbines.
And no-one asks – who is paying for that large infrastructure. the answer is simple. You do – when you get your electricity bill.
And that bill reflects the cost of building a green energy power grid. The scale is huge.
All made from minerals dug up from a mine pit – made at a factory. Is a machine with a finite life span.
So nothing clean and green here.
The green energy electricity is not stopping El Nino or La Nina weather events – driven by the cycles of the sun.
How much are you willing to piss up against the wall of labors loony ideas. And global temperatures – wont get cooler.
No doubt the political spin in is the rinse cycle now – as we speak.
I have to note that good ideas don't take decades to be implemented. Yet windmills have been around forever, and solar cells have been around for the larger part of a century and they struggle to make up 10% of the power grid.
Maybe all the industry's that are accused of excessive emissions should just shut down on a Friday for lets say for at least 2 weeks for example and lets see how well the country survives with no fuel and food deliveries and also shut down all transport, trains and aircraft etc and shut down the coal power stations and mining sectors etc.
