Today is World Oceans Day. Global warming is causing sea levels to rise, and Miami is one of the US cities most vulnerable to this phenomenon. The sea level in south Florida has risen by 20cm since 1981 and is expected to continue rising. Even with optimal emission reduction efforts aimed at slowing global warming, Miami will continue to sink underwater. Are residents aware of the threat? At the rate the sea is rising it will be 50 years before it hits 3/4 of an inch. Funny how some islands are gaining land, wonder how that works. Actually, Florida has had less storms than the early1900's. Climate scientists the best that the climate cultists can buy.
Global warming is leading to global stupidity. When you build on very low land next to the sea and the planet undergoes warming due to the natural sun cycles guess what happens. Don’t worry global cooling will come eventually and sea levels will drop no matter what CO2 does.
