We need nuclear-powered energy now
Firstly there are very few politicians aren’t full of bullshit. As for all this windmill and solar panel bullshit and the extra powerlines get rid of the nuclear power moratorium and start investing in nuclear energy and build more gas turbines. It’s not that hard. You don’t pollute the landscape with bloody windmills, solar panels or the associated powerlines and with nuclear and gas you generate far more base load use far less land and surprise surprise we have more than enough of our own resources to guarantee our energy future and not rely on importing so it’s far more cost effective. People in this country really need to wake up as much as I don’t buy this net zero capper we’ve got more hope with gas and nuclear energy and neither will send this country broke.

Easy to sign agreements but the costs not just money is bared by the citizens, You see the reversal on windfarms off the east coast but anywhere else forget it which would have the most impact in terms of ground coverage and the huge undertaking for green energy.
Unfortunately this is also the concerqeunces of these emissions standard cuts.
