Guilbeault seems to have gone insane. Of course Wilkinson, the supposed minister of energy and resources in Canada, who should have been directly the development of our energy grid, is barely literate and seldom shows up in the house…..
Alas, Guilbeault had to drop out of computer science and engineering, and ended up in political science. He isn't qualified to run a lemonade stand, let alone the ministry of the environment, and certainly not energy and resources.

U SEE Now they are attacking electricity, the very thing that are trying to push on everyone. Now it is slowly becoming another political and climate target. Don't be surprised if they jack up the taxes on electricity, the very thing they are pushing.
What I find totally bizarre is that if this guy ( and many others) could not speak French we would NOT be listening to him (or the others). More favouritism, my friend in the workplace. Quebec is the only province with it's own special federal party. Anyone who votes for the Bloc Quebecois in a federal election is actually voting for the province of Quebec. They do not pay carbon taxes (apparently) but I suppose they get a carbon rebate like all of Canada is supposed to.
He’s talking about subsidizing these companies. There is no guarantee they will stay viable leaving Albertans and Canadians with a huge bills and Rolling blackouts Guaranteed. This Clown needs to Go NOW.
I agree with net-zero being gradually and carefully achieved with the least impact to our economy. Our shared Earth 🌎 is not worth gambling with.
