  1. It's not interesting at all because there is already a significant amount of radioactive waste in the Pacific Ocean from all of the United States, Russia, and China's weapons testing over the last century. We cannot chastise Japan or scrutinize them if we are not making a greater effort make up for what we have done

  2. Communist China has been releasing hundreds of times more radioactive waste into the ocean for decades. There are several sites in Communist China that dump as much as sixty times as much radioactive material into the sea every year as Japan is currently releasing as s consequence of the Fukushima disaster, after spending years treating and separating radioactive materials until it was dilute enough to be safe to dump in the sea. Communist China just dumps radioactive material on a constant basis, without regard for the environment or the health of marine life and humans.

  3. Btw any simple minded sheep that is worried that it will contaminate the water the radiation will be extremely diluted so you don’t have to worry about it doing anything to the ocean honestly radiation is not that bad your blood is radioactive and a man once was injected with uranium and suffered no form of cancer his bones were weakened by the radiation but he had the highest dose of radiation I think 70 apparently it’s dangerous of levels go above .7

  4. That water is mostly purified and will cause no lasting damage, it's less harmful then the stuff China releases everyday from their factorys and Powerplants

Which is funny because the first to complain about Japan doing this was China, which is so ironic and hypothetical, even South Korea who isn't on the best terms with Japan told China to shut up and let Japan do it

  5. If you're going to talk about this topic, it's unjust to keep absent the information of surrounding countries' practices and the amount of tritium and other radioactive elements they release into the water compared to Japan. Example is China's 13 nuclear power plants are releasing, into the water, 20x the allowed amount of nuclear waste compared to TEPCO, the one releasing the water in this video, whose levels are well below the limit (1500 becquerels when 60,000 is the limit). They've also gone through all required legislations and approvals by U.S., U.N., and Japanese government and are currently + willing to continue its monitoring and transparency of information. Meanwhile, China is decidedly not reporting significant amounts of its waste along with attempts to paint Japan in a negative light, suspiciously similar to this video here. For anyone who cares about the sustainability and balance of nuclear energy and environmental study, don't lose sight of the real perpetrators. Shameful reporting truly.

  6. I think this is a subject that the world governments should discuss and stop. They are all over us for climate, change and pollution, and they going to allow one country to pollute an ocean.

  7. To everyone who says that Japan is doing bad or harming water or stuff, China releases industrial waste water which is way more radioactive and dangerous to the ocean every single day, plus the water Japan is releasing is treated and won't do much damage they gonna release it in very less quantities, we should respect them to hold the water and not release it till now and even for releasing it in so less quantity that it won't be that harmful.
