‘Unfortunate abuse of statistics’: Climate data encouraged over disaster analysis

American political scientist Roger Pielke Jr says climate-conscious governments sometimes apply an “unfortunate abuse of statistics” when they should be remaining faithful to what science “can and can’t say”.
Mr Pielke Jr’s comments come after the UN predicted a 40 per cent increase in climate-related disasters between 2015 and 2030.
“They took a data set that shows an increase in disasters because of better reporting around the world from the 1970s and they drew a line through it,” he told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
“The reality is, since 2000, the number of global disasters has been flatter, slightly declining.
“So when we look for trends in climate, we should always look at climate data, not disaster data.”

THE Bureau of Meteorology has been manipulating historic temperature records to fit a predetermined view of global warming.
Researcher Jennifer Marohasy revealed that the adjusted records resemble “propaganda” rather than science.
Dr Marohasy has analysed the raw data from dozens of locations across Australia and matched it against the new data used by BOM showing that temperatures were progressively warming.
In many cases, Dr Marohasy said, temperature trends had changed from slight cooling to dramatic warming over 100 years.
There are a lot of tricks that climate science managers have implemented over the years to fix the temperature record; that is fix it so it shows global warming. “Trick” was the word Phil Jones, a leading United Nation’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) scientist, used to explain to his peers that, when constructing very long global temperature series using proxy data based on tree ring measurements that can extend back thousands of years, it was best to substitute thermometer data for this proxy data from about 1960 because the proxy data started to show cooling from about then. Indeed from about 1960 until 2002 the thermometer data mostly did show warming. But now even this instrumental record is starting to show cooling. Enter the relatively new trick of homogenization.
Got to protect a seven trillion-dollar industry. China loves a good climate disaster story as they sell the most wind -solar and EV's OS but strangly use little of any of it domestically.
Just look at the flooding in auckland. 100% lack of maintenance and upgrading of infrastructure and mass population sprawl with no increase of facilities, storm water etc.

FYI Australia emits 400 million tonnes of CO2 each Year. Each standard sized tree absorbs 21kgs of CO2 each year . There are around 21 billion standard sized trees in Australia. Do the maths and Australia is already at net zero. Mangroves absorb 50x the amount of CO2 than trees and I did not even include other plants and scrubs.

Listen to real science and you should know what CO2 does and how it really works. Climate changes all the time so no discussion there but then it is over and out. Australia ABSORBS more than 6 times the amount of Co2 than it emitts. Dr.Vanessa Haverd of the C.S.I.R.O. Marine and Atmospheric Research Division was commissioned to produce a Report in 2013 on Australias then current Co2 ststus. Her research findings were that whilst Australia enitted an estimated 465 Million Tons of Co2 Per Year, it Absorbed 2.2 BILLION Tons f Co2 Per Year. Since that Report it is accepted by the C.S.I.R.O. that Australia has reduced its Co2 emissions by a further 25%. The severe problems that the current Federal Government Regime is infliciting on Australian business and consumers is more about ideology than FACTS. We have idiots for "leaders" and the population of this nation are paying dearly for their illogical actions whilst China with 1,110 Coal Fired power Stations ( 92 more under construction), and India with 285 Coal Fired Power Stations ( 26 more under construction), laugh all the way to the bank producing all Australias manufacturing needs, using Coal Fired Power Stations, run on AUSTRALIAN Coal.
