Our August 2023 #docday° touched on a diverse range of topics that matter to you, the diabetes online community. Our #dedoc° voices scholarship program for diabetes advocates, gestational diabetes in Africa, type 2 advocacy, climate change and preparing for disasters, a charity bike ride from London to Kyiv, peer support, transitioning with diabetes, ending diabetes stigma and how to have a long and happy marriage (with diabetes in tow) were all on the agenda.
#docday° is the virtual diabetes community event — by, with and for people with diabetes. Rewatch the full recording of the event here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wkTdyZHNrTI
We see #docday° as a platform for others to stand on: it is a virtual event for diabetes advocates from around the world to share their advocacy work with peers, HCPs, researchers and industry.
