23. The "wildfires" in California were about money! Our Governor put a lumber tax in place that was collected by the department of equalization and dispersed at the end of the year to lumber companies for loss of profit due to wildfires. It lasted for 13 years and ended in 2021. Because we have 16 year Governors here in California.
