Net zero. Grow more trees. Stop using concrete. These electric cars are environmnetally disastrous. God knows where all the copper's gonna come from. Batteries cause huge toxic pools of sludge, explode, and cant really be recycled. Tyres give off more particles than those on normal cars cos electric cars are heavier. And remember the shock horror last year that the electric might have to be turned off cos we werent producing enough? Its a ridiculous idea. Perhaps might work in cities, but travelling 70 miles on a charge is not gonna get anything done. And who's gonna pay for the normal person to have one of these cars. Its at best a kneejerk reaction to climate change, and at worst yet another way of making money out of a potential disaster without thinking about the ramifications.
Cars can run on other substances such as alcohol? Just an idea.

Isn't Sunak breaking Section 6 of the Ministerial Code by using a government facility to make a party political broadcast? The slogan in front of him and on every screen in the "Government" press room is the slogan for the Party Conference and is all over the literature pushing the Conservatives for the election. So as well as lying through his teeth he is also breaking the Ministerial Code banning the use of government property for party political statements. He has already been reported for this but given how corrupt he is and how toothless the watchdog is he will get away with it. Maybe the media should take up the cause and force action against this dishonest corrupt PM.
